Stoner will be a lot higher than 14th next year. Mark Webber should be higher with a few good results next season too.

I'd never heard of him either :D

The article says "Mat Mladin, a star of the AMA Superbike Championship in the US. Although he finished second on the circuit this year, and has won the series 6 times, most of his earnings come from a large sponsorship contract with Suzuki"

I have filled out spots 21-30 now

I was looking for Ben Graham too but he's not there I reckon they might have missed him.

They say the cut-off is $1.1m yet he doesn't even make the 'just missing' list

Also in the article it says that Brett Lee has been approached to record and perform a theme song for the next World Cup cricket tournament in the subcontinent in 2011. Post retirement apparently he is off to Bollywood.

Last year he released a single with a Bollywood star which reached no 4 on the charts in India and South Africa

Nice work Hondo, although it's Football, NOT the dirty S word!

Is anyone else sick to F*%$ of seeing Greg Normans leather handbag of a face in everything. I can't stand the bloke and just wish he'd do a Nathan Ablett and bugger off. I guess when there's $20m nicker in it, I'd slut my face on everything too though

Secondly, for the Football Fans.....of all the Aussies running around in the world's top leagues, who would you rather have running around in your colours? Timmie for me hands down. The Merseysiders have got themselves a cracking deal there.

When you say "worlds top leagues in football", I assume you mean AFL, SANFL, VFL, WAFL?

  Forgot the A-League smac...

Yeah DA Timmy for mine too. Should captain the side for the Asian qualifiers.

A bloke by the name of Kewell has shown a bit of passion for the shirt also.

Going to be a HUGE contract for Timmy when his is up. Will become Australia's highest paid footballer.
If he stays at Everton for another 8 years and his form stays as is will go down as a Merseysider legend....

Matt Mladin is a HUGE name in the States racing bikes. Has had a crack in Moto GP, world Superbikes and the like
also. A bit like Chad Reed, racing in the States if successful brings in the $$$$.

Yeah, noboday can deny Harry's commitment to the national side. Absolute champion IMO and has been rightfully recognised and rewarded for his talent in the EPL too.

You're right on Timmie too. It will be payday in a massive way next time around. I can see him staying at Merseyside too. When Timmie dominates, both Australia and Everton seem to win and that is no coincidence becasue he' a dead set gun.

Oh dear, they have found another way to ruin a world cup. Saying that no doubt it will hugely popular over there.

Boo!

And you call yourself Australian.

A Pox on you.

Dominated the Aussie Superbike scene about 12 (???) years ago for a year or two (including winning regularly @ Mallala when yours truly was a flag marshall)

Raced Grand Prix bikes for a year or two with very limited success.

Also raced World Super Bikes (I think?) for a year or two.

Ended up dropping down a further rung, where he has pretty much become the Valentino Rossi of the American Superbike scene. (As shown from time to time on fox)

Another interesting one is Chad Reed, who (I think) won the American Supercross (indoor) bike championship a few years back, and is a definite superstar in that comp.

Only a few years back he was racing indoors at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in a few Supercross events.

On a different but related topic, the leading NZ $$ earning sportsman for the last few years had been Tiger Woods Caddy !(assuming he's still doing it)
