Awwww, boohoo to the athletes that aren't as well conditioned as the lawn bowlers and can't perform to their optimum with a hangover. They should get rid of all the wussy sports with athletes that can't handle their piss. They're not real athletes anyway, Grenville Dietrich was a real athlete.

Was a volunteer at Melbourne 2006 and really enjoyed it.

Even a cynic like me was quite amazed how the event transformed the city for those few weeks.

Just getting the train home at 12.30am after each shift and seeing everyone on the train talking away to each other about the days event was something to behold.
