Fantasy NBA - Help Please?

Fellow Forumites who follow the NBA, I need some help if I can please ...
I've been involved in an NBA Fantasy League for years now, however in that time the attention Ive been able to pay to the comp has diminished severly (as have my results).
The one young gun on my roster (unless you include Bogut in that category) is Luol Deng, whom I've just been offered a trade for ... The deal would see me lose Deng but pick up LeMarcus Aldridge (or Andris Biedrins) and Rudy Gay ... Having never seen Aldridge or Gay* in action* I have no idea of the wraps on them or their ability.
So any info anyone might have would be greatly appreciated!!
Cheers,
CP

It depend on what sort of league you are playing in and what the rest of the strenghts and weaknesses your team has.
Deng: 20ppg, good shooter 51%, 7rpg, 1 spg, 0.6bpg
Gay: second year swingman for the Griz. Big down fall is poor shooting and ave 3pt shooting, 5rpg, 1+ spg & bpg
Aldridge: secong year centre for the Blazers, could have a big season due to injuries to starters, will get good minutes (look at his opening game, obviously wont do that every night, but can do it and against good opposition - 12/19 FG 27pts, only 3 REB) Poor rebounder for his size 5rpg last year
Biedrins: Skinny second year forward for the Warriors, good shooter 60% LY, good rebounder 9rpg. Prone to foul trouble and turnovers. (Opening night vs Utah - fouled out in 27 min 4pts 1/4FG, 9 reb, but 5 TO)
It would be taking a chance on young up and coming second year players (Gay & Aldridge) but they both have potential, and with Aldridge a great situation to perform well.

Would agree with what Brod said and that Yes, Aldridge will be a featured player in Portland this year and will be interesting to see what happens with Deng and where he could end up with the trade rumours that are circling.
On the whole though it would make sense to hang onto Deng.

Thanks for your help guys - Trade deadline today and Im still unsure whether to pull the trigger or not lol ... The one thing about the trade is it gives me 3 All Rookies from last year (already have Bargnani) + Bogut, which is a good base for future (that said, Deng has his best years ahead of him too).
Just wish I could get a bloody offer for T-Mac now.
Anyway, enough of my dribble, cheers lads.

Not sure how your system works Con' but McGrady pretty good today. 47 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in a 105-96 win for the Rockets over Utah.

I know T-Mac is pretty good, but noone in our league will trade with anyone older than about 28 ... The software that we use seems to reward high clip, board banging paint monsters which I've been chasing for a while without much success.
Be pretty happy though if TMac can post a few more numbers like he did tonight

If that's the case have a look at Seattle F/C Chris Wilcox who will post good numbers and will probably cost FA.
