Casey Stoner had to deal with slower riders on the track during yesterday's qualifying, but this morning was quickest in the practice session, 0.475 sec faster than Rossi and .749sec faster than Pedrosa.

2nd best placed Aussie, Anthony West is 10th on the grid, with Vermuelen starting from 18th spot.

Yeh, someone started another thread, great ride by Stoner, blasted out of the gate and lead start to finish, gave Ducati the constructors title as well.

How things have changed from the old days.

Well Done Stoner and Ducati.

Honda have fallen away.

During the race I thought, Where's Harley...?

Maybe a stupid thought. But I wouldn't be alone...?

Might have more chance if it was a Buell.............second thoughts na, still no hope, the Yanks couldn'y put a 1500cc motor together that would keep up with the 800cc bikes from Japan & Italy
