BAGDHADUS...No longer just the capital of Iraq!

Well done to Marcos Bagdhadus (probably spelt wrong) on reaching the Australian Open final. Marcos has not only beaten Nalbandian but he also did what Pong could not do, defeat Andy Roddick. So we've got this Greek Cypriot bloke (adored by the Melbourne 'locals' ha ha) who can beat these top players while our own LL is on the nest banging his soap star. Strange days indeed.

GO BAGDHADUS. Clean up Roger Bugerer I say!!

regards,

REB

ps - Does anyone besides me think that Ameile Mauresmo and Cameron Mooney were separated at birth??

BAGDHADUS won the first set 7-5, got an early break in the 2nd set and then had two break points to get a double break but stuffed it up, seemed to have Roger rattled but he has broken back to level at 4 each in the second set. Interesting match, with lots of great play lets keep it going. I would favour the Roger at this stage but stranger things have happened.

One set all, 7-5, 5-7 after a questionable line call was over ruled on Break/Set point in the 2nd.

Over rule was correct, he lead in that game 40-0 to make it a 2nd set tie break but couldn't convert. That has killed his spirit because he has lost the 3rd set 6-0 on 20 minutes.
