What has Dan "Kobe" Bryant been banned for?

Match fixing scandle?

Unchecked drug use?

A tirade of lewd abuse directed at a mother of 4?

All of the above?

Full disclosure is required and quite possibly a full blown intervention. :?

Awaiting CCTV footage to become available. This footage is sure to shake or stir things up a great deal and may leave one MBK a little sour when he sees what transpired.
Due to the delicate nature of the events NFGFC has appointed Damien Emery as its spokesperson. He is sure to comment soon enough.

On behalf of NFGFC and Mr Emery we are pleased to announce that Daniel Jeffrey Bryant has been suspended for 1 month from all domestic Gaelic Football competition and social events. This suspension will not effect his selection at the Australasian Championships in late Sept-Early Oct. His tremendous contribution to the Nationals in Melbourne 2009 in the role of "The Phantom Sh*itter" was taken into account in the reduction of his sentencing. Mr Emery has also stated that he is "100% certain" that all due dilligence has been done in dealing with the incident.

So that leaves him available to play round 1.
In other news the vault of PNU CCTV footage has been opened & an official look at all of the footage from the past 5 years. This also includes footage from downstairs as well

Plenty of incidents but only one to report....

The Milky Bar Kid once again failed to show up to a function that he had committed to. As a result a number of people went home disappointed (yet again).

One hopes actually makes it to NZ and to the gorund each day. He is proving to be unreliable and elusive....A riddle wrapped inside an enigma, coated in mystery sauce.

I may ask Motorboat to confirm if that is the only incident worth reporting.

However the word 'committed' is arguable. Event number 1, my good mate WW goes oh yeah ur invited to celebrate the birth of MG's daughter, it started 3 hours ago...
Event number 2, WW says, you're invited to MG's wifes birthday, i tell him I've got committements with Mrs MBK & her netball best & fairest, but i will try to make it!

So i listened to whom he should obey & went to the netball presentation, at which there was a 6 hour bar tab (which included base spirits!). So once this ended i made my way on foot to the Lion, to find that you've all (except MB) have gone home....

Moose tells me that on Sunday at Football Park MBK approached the lady who does the facepainting but alas she would not paint his face in the Norwood colours as she insisted giving him a pure blue face would have a much more signifigant effect. ......This is another reading from the gospel of the Moose ;)

How are other clubs looking for the new season a month out from the start?

Any big recriutment drives??

2 new mens teams should be pretty interesting....

For our part we have had the usual influx of players wanting to play gaelic for the first time, trouble is they all usually last about 2 weeks!!......
