For someone who gets $800 a game one would think he could go on a $19 a month plan

Your a funny one MBK...
Atleast i dont have a personalised stat taker! Not that he has to do much. Only has to count them on one hand. :D

MotorBoat - Yes i have a stalker. A very sad stalker. But only for another 8 long weeks.
MBK - Allow me to enter your rebuttal regarding MotorBoat$ statistical insult that he has made.....Dear MoneyBoat, If you want to count points in footy as stats then yes fingers and toes would be required to do your stats. ;) Today you will see first hand the efficiency of MBK.

SA Gaelic Football lost an Icon today. Somebody who was making sure the traditions lived on. Somebody who understood, respected and most importantly passed on the the links to the past. Norm Murphy (O'Neils Only) R.I.P.....We, and the game in this state, will not be same without you.

R.I.P Normy. We will never forget you. When the game i love was dead you resurrected it and gave us oppurtunities we thought would never be possible. In no way can my words ever do justice the gratitude i owe you for my lifes greatest moments. Norm Murphy wasnt just the saviour of our game, he was a friend, a mentor and a hero.

Just looking through the results of the Country Football Championships and it looks like 3 players who played in the gaelic comp over summer have just finished representing SA over the weekend in Footy.

Andrew Bachmann (St Brendans)
Brad Haskett (Western Ireland)
Mitch Portlock (Western Ireland)

I think Mitch was named in the All Australian team which must have been a huge effort. Well done lads.

I know its early but how are all the sides going with recruiting this season? Any major ins or outs? Should be a very competitive season. For those that dont know there will be one season this year with the second final replaced with a minor premiership. Good move imo

It's nice to smell the championships around the corner. Always a special build up and it was a good feeling last night at St Marys. Very happy with how the girls are looking and good numbers for the men last night too.

For those who want a quick Gaelic footy fix before the Australasian Championships and the start of the Gaelic season, set the VCR for 8am this Friday morning (30 July 2010) and tape TOTALLY WILD on channel 10. There is a segment on the South Australian minors team for the 2010 championships, featuring among others St Brendans starlets Johny and Jordan Pegoraro (who by all reports certainly are not camera shy) and the rest of the squad! Also interviews with minors state team manager Owen Hanna, as well as coach Anto Keogh. Heres hoping the good people at Totally Wild provide us viewers with subtitles for Anto's very Irish accent!

If he was getting paid per point he would be able to pay for the whole team  But seriously the big man, myself and the dirtbag will be leaving on a cruise in early October so it seems unlikely ;)

who are the coaches for the state league teams this year.

Western Ireland will be back under control from David Floreani as Jon has stepped aside to become an assistant.

I believe the St Brendans AGM is next week. I expect there wont be too many changes at the top with Millsy as coach and Zeus as President, Chairman, Treasurer, Physio, Waterboy and Centre Half back.
