There was a topic? Didn't enjoy the late night call wristy about what richie Benaud said after the ball of the century! If you're wondering why I never got back to you for that 11 bucks...

Got in touch with Gabe. Needless to say his attitude is very positive and he will come back better than ever..when his body is ready. His spirits are up, that's the main thing.

Hmmm, I don't remember those said persons making such a suggestion.

I'll report the results of the Na Fianna best & fairest tho.

1st - Gav O'Rielly, 2nd - Nick 'Beserka' Delvins, 3rd - Nick 'Motorboat' Jolly, 4th Dan 'Milko' Bryant, 25th Tommy 'he's done it/6.45' Javor.

it's true, the milky man was 4th. He was critisied for the massive drop from 1st to 4th.

Maybe a call to Jason Fay at some obseen hour of the night is in order as he knows all the answers?

The 6.45 trophy should be rightfully massive, although it would look like an absolute pig!!!

Did anyone catch the Fremantle vs Geelong match on (Ben Way's own) Fox Sports on Sunday arvo? Frequent flashes to Mark Harvey in the Freo coaches box, and who is sitting next to him on the coaching panel but former Western Ireland (the Purple Haze of the GFHASA?) running machine Adam "Chopper" Read! Schimma what is it again that he does for the Dockers - some sort of fitness statistics IIRC?

Good work Cripple, check out the totally modern and new age GFHASA website, that has some useful Gaelic Football coaching and training manuals. The direct link is http://www.gaelicfootballsa.com.au/Deve ... ching.html or PM me if you have any questions, as the GFHASA would ceratinly be keen to help you out!

Also why not set some theory and direct these young students to the Honour Board section of the website, and get them up to speed with the past greats and reigning champions of the GFHASA... a pop quiz including such questions as "who has won the most Hannigan Cups in the last 10 years" and "How many Gabe Phillips medals has Gabe Phillips won" should get these students keen to learn about the great game!

He is the cousin of MBK, hence the slight difference in appearance.
