Stan Hansen (or even JBL) might disagree.

A clothesline is a spot above a leg drop for shit finishers.

I will raise you the worst finisher of all time - The peoples f#cken elbow.

Techniqully not a finisher...

When he beat CM Punk to start his last title reign it was the last move he used before the 3 count.

I'm not sure what else you could call that

Didn't Stone Cold refuse to lose that way with the Rock? preferred 2 or 3 rock bottoms to the elbow?

That's because it's a joke move. I look forward to when Brock v Rock II does happen and Dwayne is forced to work for his money.

Nigel McGuiness and Kenta Kobashi would also disagree that a clothesline can't be finisher.

Yeah can't say I agree with that one either. A well executed clothesline used as a finisher like Hansens Lariat or JBLs CFH were great finishes.

Lest we forget the man that made wrestling also used a clothesline finisher called the "Axe Bomber" or "Axey Boomba". He knocked out Inoki with it and stopped the toughest wrestlers in the world in the stiffest wrestling environment. Hulkamania 4 Life Brother!!!!

Smackdown - 53 minutes into the show before two men locked up for a wrestling match WTF!!! Thankfully we recapped the shit out of Raw and talked ourselves to boredom. Cuttla commercials in there too.

I know I'm being negative but that is soon fixed by the power of positivity that I feel when new day come through the curtain. Credit where it's due, one of the worst gimmicks seen has become ingenious as heels. For the first time since his rookie year I now cheer for Kofi  because....New Day....Rocks!!!!!

have said for a while they need to piss off smackdown, or go back to certain stars only appear on certain shows.
Smackdown used to be great, now its just an overflow of RAW with heaps of ads and promotions

I'm expecting Sting to interfere in Taker v Brock tomorrow. Can't envisage a clean finish. Could be wrong but maybe Sting to cost Taker the match to set up a long lead in to Mania.

Heard it was good. Thought KO might win to allow for him to feud with Sammy upon his return but based on the fact these two will put on 5 star matches their inevitable feud will hopefully now be on the main roster.

Women's wrestling stealing the show is one of those damn oxymorons. Glad they had a good match but if you are trying to tell me that you were more entertained by a women's match than Balor v Owens I can't help but giggle

Based on the just reading of results it looks like it was a good show. Should be an excellent Raw tomorrow.

Banks vs Bayley was the best match on the show.

Just watched the important bits of SSlam. The ending of the main event was garbage and ruined the match.

Never been a fan of celebrities inserting themselves into Main Events if you're talking about Cena v Rollins. If you are referring to Taker tapping , they had to do something to create the need for a rubber match.

Brocks opening segment was awesome - Bolieve that

New Days entrance, match and ensuing pandemonium was goosebump off the page. I don't even want to say another word about it. Just watch it. Finally the Tag team div seems to be returning to past glory days. About time I say. 8)

Was easily the best match not only on the NXT PPV but also of the whole weekend. Incredible.

If you didn't watch it, do yourself a favour.

Sasha Banks is the most over wrestler at the moment but she couldn't even get a run on Raw. They wonder why the crowd gets frustrated. We don't want to see 3 vs 3 tag matches with no title developments and no Banks is incredibly over atm

Everything I have heard about this match from people in the business, fans and even smarks has been very positive. I will check it out.
