Yes of course the govt puts assistance in, but the council has to apply for that assistance. Everyone always understates the councils role in public works.

Councils are more important to your local area than state government (more so in the country areas), but how many people actually vote at council elections.

Can take u to a spot where I saw them around 40cm on the island .I of course landed 2 ST's lmao.
Bait IMHO should out fish lures .I'm now getting fish the size I was while fly fishing west lakes, at the end of me doing that .Not the ST's there getting smaller loved them 30cm's on the fly.

Dont worry I could be a fishing guide round the lake at times lmao . Mine will get bigger what the hell i do when a 40-60 cm mullie grabs a lure and runs. now that's the question I as a 2lb braid user should be thinking about lmao

Apparently they dump it on the side where the sand can enter straight back into the ramp.

That has to be a costly exercise.

Ive had time to think about what i said about the Ramp at Balgowan. It is perfect condition and needs no work done on it what so ever. The 10 to 15 boats that use it on a weekend is just enough activity. :D :D :D .

Best success I have had was at night off the Smokey Bay jetty when I was about 17. Bagged out 3 nights in a row and found a new hatred of them when cleaning the bastards

Shouldn't matter if its incoming or out going tide, just need some movement in the water. Best to drift over weedy patches, and as funny as it sounds when the conditions are bright use a bright coloured jag, White/with a red tip, yellow have worked well and when its Dull conditions use a dark jag, dark blue and dark greens have worked well.

On the blue line anywhere from Grange to Largs is reaping heaps at the moment.

Just of Bow road in about 15-18ft of water for Gar. Get a burly trail going and if there are any around they will find you. Just make sure you have wind and tide together. (If there is any breeze)

Seems like anywhere in between semi and largs jetty at the moment you will get crabs. Old boy went out Sunday and in 1 1/2 hrs came home with 75 and heard of plenty of other people netting large numbers.
