Colts Touchdown with a minute to go ... Should convert for a 4 point lead ... Patriots with 2 TO's left, Match of the year candidate perhaps?

Patriots make fair ground on their final roll of the dice but an interception with 16 seconds remaining and 1 TO left means the Colts finally shake the monkey from their back!!

da bears have been very inconsistent this year mainly due to their qb who has had some great games with a rating over 100 then poor games wtih ratings in the 20's and even a 0.0..thank god they have a defence tho....at this stage, the only consistent team is the pats and that scares me...manning needs to have a huge game and not let NE run over them while the bears are favs vs the saints but the saints have brees and bush to maybe get them over the line...i hate to say it but it looks like a pats over bears in the final but id rather see the saints beat the colts...

should be fun either way :D

MK's dark horse tip comes through :D . Both very good games. The Saints weren't revelling in the sleet and snow in Chicagee that's for sure but I don't think that was too much of a factor. Colts look very good but might stick with the dark horse. Either way, it's going to be a very enjoyable SuperBowl in two weeks.

Two questions;
Who will show up, a bad Rex Grossman or the the weak Colts run defense?
Which will dominate, the Bears tough defense or the Colts brilliant offense?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Interesting to note that Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith is apparently the lowest paid coach in the league at the moment but the Bears hierachy have offered him a new 3 year deal that will no doubt have a significant pay rise.

Think that the Colts are due like Port Power were in 2004 and that Rex Grossman is due for a shocker.

Constance, it looks like I might be able to pull that no.18 jersey out of the closet

Colts are, on average 7 point favorites.
So, in the immortal words of Tony Kornheiser & Michael Wilbon, "Who ya got?".
My tip, Colts 23-17.

Boys - been reading the US punting forums and most the Pro's like Bears +7...most agree its a coin flip job but the market is heavily favoured in favour of the Colts....Im going to be punting the Bears +7 and a little on them just to win at $3.45...

Seems to be a lot to like about probable no 1 overall draft choice, quarterback JaMarcus Russell.
The Oakland Raiders have the first choice and if he's not starting on opening day, there's something wrong.

Calvin johnson is a big name to go no.1 also. A 6'5" 240lb WR outta Georgia Tech i think. Apparantly the best draft prospect for ages.

I personally cant wait for the draft in roughly 1 month from now. Its in NY too and im tempted to go to it but have footy training instead.

Yeah, my comment may have seemed to be limiting the options but given the Raider's woes at the QB position (even more so than elsewhere), I don't believe they have any other choice than to draft Russell.

true, but some teams will take the best player available...its hard to choose a player or determine which team will take what player....i tell you what, i would never have the job of an nfl gm on draft day. the shit they get for wrong picks and i tell ya, the jets have made some TERRIBLE choices in recent (and way back) years...its an impossible job and since the raiders are such a shambles its probably best they go the qb option first up as whats the point of having a WR when no one will get him the ball. they need to start rebuilding and doing it from the no. 1 position on the field.

the radiers got rhodes from the colts as ther RB so thats not bad.

In a post that could also be put in the general discussion section.................

Will be interesting to see what comes of the situation with Atlanta quarterback Michael Vick and his involvement in dog fighting. As much trouble as he's already in, I think there's a real chance of something big happening as it seems though he may be put in a situation where he's forced between exposing who else is involved and or getting a lengthy NFL suspension/doing jail time and given the types that are likely involved, for his own safety he'll be better off doing time.

We were all shocked in Aust re Cousins ... yet we'd die with our legs in the air if we had to cope with the number of drug, fire-arms ad other criminal offences the NFL guys get up to. In January, a Denver Bronco was shot dead FFS.
In between signatures .....
