150km in 40 degree heat and a headwind. Wowee.

I was being sarcastic. They are freaks.

Are these bonuses used for the TDF?

Yep, in Le Tour there are time bonuses for finishing in the top 5-10 places.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I was devastated to hear Phil Liggett mistake the main street of Freeling to that of Kapunda, and supposedly Watervale has a rail crossing in the middle of town................hmmm.
Should have done some reserach Mr Liggett?????

Wow what a day, the Willunga Hill stage lives up to it's reputation as THE stage of teh TDU.

O'Grady part of breakaway for 100 km (the 3 laps of Aldinga), breakaway group caught, then on the final climb Valverde* and Gerrens overhaul another breakawy group and finish on the same time for the GC. Gerrens in ochre so basically has to make sure he finishes in front of Valverde in the sprint bonus and final sprint tomorrow to claim the TDU.

If the mining boom takes off and the SA government can throw some serious funds in I can see this event becoming one of if not the biggest sporting event in this country. The rate its grown in 10 years is phenomenal. You would think it would be very cost effective too......
