49ers got a good win against the Seahawks.
Steelers got pumped and Romo did a big choke against the Jets

Very impressed with Newton yesterday for carolina. Over 400 passing yards in his debut match!

First time in history a debutant QB has achieved this.....hopefully they can carry this momentum into a few wins this season.

Disappointed with the falcons result. Not quite sure what is going on with us at the moment.

i still cant believe the jets yesterday.
when the cowboys had the ball on the 2 yard line i think it was in the fourth i went out thinkin game was over...
then checked scores on my phone it was 24 all after romo fumbles on the goal line and jets block a punt for a TD

Rookie question which i cant work out....

Why do teams opt for the field goal when they are like 5-6 yards from the TD line?

kickin a FG is a lot easier than scoring a TD (most of the times)

someone who has better extensive knowledge might give a better view

Thought that's what you said jim, couldnt agree more.

Giants did alright for a 1 1/2 quaters then the defence stop working at all, eli and the offence couldn't get anything going, bad day out for the giants.

to answer a previous post, in 2007 season / 2008 play offs - the giants where 1-5 then went on a 10 game winning streak, lost the last game of the season to pats, made it as the wild card, won though the playoffs and won the superbowl against the pats who where 17-0 going in.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

I do like beating the Giants, must admit i dont despise them like i do Dallas and Philly though.
I wonder if the NFL has ever done a poll on who is the most hated team, i would think the Eagles would be right up there.

Oh, dont worry about us we will be back to our normal mediocrity before too long :(

well I know there was a poll across the league and the Giants V Eagle rivalry was voted the most vicious and the most amount of hatred involved and the longest rivalry. alot of people I know don't really hate or like the giants there kind of in the middle, however the eagles seem to invoke hatred in people, I use to think it was a NY thing but everyone seems to hate them or Oakland

Some really great games in week 1. Well worth the wait for the season to start. The biggest upset would have to be the Bills over KC in Kansas, didn't see that one coming.

49ers got rolled by the cowgirls in OT after leading by 10 in the last qtr :(
Brady & the Pats just march on , Brady is a machine.

Pats, Det, Jets, GB, Redskins & Houston are all 2-0

Colts are in trouble 0-2 with no Manning and the ravens losing to the titans was a massive surprise

Should be a good Sunday night Eagles(Vick) returning as starting to Atlanta

How bad have KC been this year (Chiefs are my team) ? Barely scored in the pre season games and have had 2 40 point losses in the first two weeks. Most predicted a top two division finish, at this rate the will be lucky to win a game.
