62-31! Can't see us losing this one.

Bit of a Barlow fan NFC? ;)

He's certainly got a nice stroke from three.

I reckon you might get a bit of Markovic action in this last quarter too.

Was Markovic even there? I'm not sure I saw him. Disappointing, would've liked to see him in the final 4-5 mins at least.

Great win, well worth staying up for. :D

I didn't see him either would've been a bit rude to not give him a few minutes when you're up 30+.

An outstanding win that should see us avoid finishing 4th in our group and getting knocked straight out by the US.

Down by 6 at the half. Was in double digits near the end, a good fightback. If only Newley took that rebound cleanly.

Beat me to it NFC, that was a great fightback it was starting to look like they were going to get away from us there.

Well, we still continue to fight.

Am I the only one who is starting to question Newley's place in the team? I think Barlow gives us more.

Newley has been a bit disappointing but not sure I'd play Barlow ahead of them. Then again nice left hander by Newley on the break.

Nice dunk by Maric, good to see him looking like a big man I haven't been overly impressed with him this tournament.

He has looked a lot more aggressive in this game. Maybe a family member read out Boti's criticism of him in today's paper.

It wasn't that bad. Boti did the write up for the Boomers/Germany game and just mentioned in it something like Newley continues to be disappointing. I think we did alright, I consider Serbia a 15-20 point better team than us really. If we beat Angola tomorrow night I think that would mean we finish 3rd in our group and would avoid playing the US in the next round.

Serbia 94 (Teodosic 19, Velickovic 18, Krstic 14, Keselj 11, Savanovic 10) def Australia 79 (Newley 13, Mills 12, Maric 10, Nielsen 10)

Have only been able to catch the first half against Serbia and 2nd half of Argentina game...

Seems we're missing Bogut as we're lacking an inside threat, Maric is looking horrible and the other big men aren't doing a heap. All leads to a lack of open shots on the outside

Serbia by contrast had a big inside presence and hit that up repetitively which then gave them heaps of outside looks which they duly knocked down..

Still I have been pretty impressed with the team and given they're all young it can only lead to better things...
