there is talk that D bryan could be out for 8 weeks.

I assume the title would need to be handed back and a title match for it at pay back without D Bryan as the rules were to my understanding that if the champ could not compete in 30 days then they forfeit the title.

They only pick and choose when this applies. Pretty sure Dean Ambrose went far longer than 30 days without a title defence during his run as US champ.

Can't see it happening but his work is always at such a high standard. If the WWE championship and World championship weren't unified his odds of having a title run would be far greater in my opinion.

i know its all acting yes but I thought if the champ was challenged and the champ could not fight then its forfeited .
if the champ is not challenged then it just goes with the flow

That is just used when they want to use it for the storyline sake.

If he can appear on TV to cut promos and keep his face in front of the camera while injured, they might be able to keep his reign going during the 8 weeks.

Rules? :?

If it's 8 weeks I reckon the title will be taken off him.

Disappointed with how they used Bad news Barret in his home country. Other than that though I thought it was a solid Raw with a fantastic UK crowd as we have come to expect.

Agree completely. He should have opened the show and even been on commentary for the first of the beat the clock challenges. I felt like they missed the boat on that but instead had "glory hound, daddy's company, my tv time" McMahon just throw to a vignette of him so she could scoop his heat. The bull hammer he hit would have been a lot bigger pop had he actually done it in the ring.

Another angle I would like to see is Ryback dumb "Worst Henning Ever" and have a face turn. He was hot as a face and has been brutal as a heel. He is wasting away and they need to do something, anything with him.

Speaking of wasted talent. You called it BW our mate Sandow since dropping the case has gone on a crash course of failure. Losing to the Cobra last week was hard to watch. What's next tapping out to El-midget bull.

Don't get me wrong, the opening was good but the point myself and I believe WW is trying to make is that Wyatt will be able to deliver that sort of promo most weeks in the US and get a great reaction whereas only in the UK will Barrett get a phenomenal reaction for opening the show. I think it was a big opportunity missed since the WWE doesn't venture to the UK to often.

Precisely, I am a huge Bray Wyatt mark and loved his promo but when in Rome you wear those stupid sandals.
