Giants pitching & fielding has been excellent & Det can't hit anything at the moment.
Cain pitching tomorrow, hoping for the sweep.

San Fran win the world series by a clean sweep. Taking the 4th game 4-3... Totally dominant over the series... I reckon the tigers sweeping the yankees could may be the worst thing they did, cause SF played all 7 games of the NLCS and came from 3-1 down and had all the momentum coming into the WS... Plus there superior defence and solid batting may have something to do with the sweep  ...
I'm glad a National League side won it...

Got to let them win once in awhile, still a long way behind ;)
Seriously though well deserved by the Giants, way too good for Detroit and deserved World Series Champions.

Incredible win from the Giants, won 6 elimination games and then swept the world series.
Pitching and defence was outstanding in the series.

Boston has just learnt that Kevin Youkilis has been refused a second year at $13mil with Chicago White Sox and they are considering Youk as a replacement first baseman for Adrian Gonzalez. This sounds good to me!

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

I hadn't heard that one before, but I guess it makes sense. Tito was a top manager. I just hope Farrell measures up at Fenway Park, I'm sick of seeing the RedSox being hammered.

Well done to Miggy and Buster Posey on their respective MVP awards.

Also very pleased to see RA Dickey win the Cy Young, but was surprised by how easily he won it though.

Some early season moves in the free agency include

Melky Cabrera-Giants to Blue Jays
Jonny Gomes-Athletics to Red Sox
Zack Greinke-Angels to Dodgers
Dan Haren-Angels to Nationals
Tori Hunter-Angels to Tigers
Russell Martin-Yankees to Pirates
Brandon McCarthy-Athletics to Diamondbacks
Mike Napoli-Rangers to Red Sox
BJ Upton-Rays to Braves
Shane Victorino-Dodgers to Red Sox
Kevin Youkilis-White Sox to Yankees(not comfirmed as yet)

Where will Hamilton end up? The Bronx? Fenway?

One can see the BoSox being the big improvers now the useless tw@t Bobby Vee has gone.

Red Sox look very much improved from this years disaster under Valentine combo. I'm not sure about the bullpen though.
