You and the fam are welcome any time pels. Guest room is ready to go. Take you out to Corroborree billabong. Even if you don't catch a fish, you will have a ball. It's prehistoric. ;)

Went over to Pt Hughes for 3 days over the weekend and came home with a feed of KG's. Tough going though. Windy, wet & not overly warm. Here's what a 40kt squall looks like when it hits.

Very lucky we weren't around the other side of The Cape when it hit - we had just decided to make a run for it back into the Bay. 2mins after dropping the pick, BAM!! :?

Not a cracker mate!  Thought they might come on hard, but alas they were in slumber.

Managed a bag (2 person) on Friday, 20 on Saturday and 14 on Sunday. Was hard work gathering that lot though. Tough conditions and was only able to get around the corner (Cape) for a total of 20mins across 3 days, so all fish caught in shallow. :?

Top weather & company pity the fish were no where to be seen. The three that went out on the boat Sat got 3 whiting and a couple of squid. Had a crack at Daly Heads on Sunday but only smaller salmon and nothing decent.
Great weekend anyway :D

Did you get wet pels?? Few crays not far off shore around that neck of the woods. I'm guessing the water would be pretty fresh still tho?
