The Penguins Vs Flyers 1st round match is going to be awesome, both teams do NOT like each other at all.
Hopefully Malkin & Crosby will be to hot for the Flyers to handle.

Caps seal a playoff spot with a 4-2 win over the Panthers.
Are currently the No.8 seed but can still win the Division and claim the No. 3 seed, need to beat the Rangers in the last game and hope the Panthers dont pick up a point in their last game.
If we lose to the Rangers we will finish 8th and meet the Rangers in the first round playoffs

Cracker of a game in the Pacific, Sharks beat the Kings 6-5 in SO. 3 decent fights and plenty of penalties in this heated game. Dallas were eliminated today so the playoff teams are done, just fighting for rankings now.
Kings, Sharks and Coyotes seperated by 1 point and the Kings travel to San Jose on the final day, the winner could win the division and No. 3 seed and loser could end up as No. 8 seed

Caps 3-0 over the Rangers at end of 1st period.
With Ottawa losing to the Devs today we can move to 7th seed with a win. If the Cats also lose in regulation we can jump to No.3
Personally not too keen to finish 3rd as we would have to play the Devs who we match up terrible on and are in white hot form ATM.
Would much rather face the Bruins or Rangers

Some crackers today
Sens 2-4 Rangers, Rangers lead series 1-0
Caps 0-1 OT Bruins
Sharks 3-2 2OT Blues
Hawks 2-3 OT Coyotes

Disapponting effort from the Caps today even though it went to OT. Wont win too many if you dont take shots, we hardly fired a shot in the first 2 periods. Going to be really tough now especially with a 3rd string goalie who has been playing minors all season

Devs 3-2 Cats, Devils lead series 1-0
Wings 3-2 Preds, Series level 1-1
Flyers 8-5 Pens, Flyers lead series 2-0.
Whats going on in Pittsburgh? Once again had a 2-0 and 3-1 lead in first period before being overun and allowing the Flyers 7 goals in the final 2 periods. Philly will be hard to stop from here

Sharks 0-3 Blues, Series tied 1-1
Sens 3-2 OT Rangers, series tied 1-1
Pretty fiery game with a few cheap shots and couple of decent fights. The Sens levelled it late in the third and then won it a minute into OT.
