Caps lose 1-0 to the Flyers and are in real danger of missing playoffs.
Looks like 7 sides in East are set with 5 or 6 sides fighting for the final spot.
Rangers look like having number 1 seed all sown up.

Blackhawks beat the red wings in Detroit! Was that the ending of the run?

Caps lose 4-3 to the Canes in OT.
Glad we got a point, trailed 3-2 with 2 minutes remaining.
Any points count at this stage

Caps beat the Bolts 3-2 in OT.
Tied it up with 2 minutes left and then the Great 8 won it in OT.
Keeps alive playoff hopes, going to be really tight for the last spot in East

Great 2 days for the Caps.
Beat the Bruins 4-3 yesterday and backed it up with a 2-0 win over the Leafs today.
Start a really hard 5 game road trip on Wednesday, only a month remaining in regular season and playoff race very tight

Good road win for the Caps, came from 4-1 down against the Isles to win the shootout.
Just need to keep getting points on the road, got some huge games coming up this week

Sabres beat the Bolts 7-3
Pens lead the Jets 6-4 after 2

Picked up a handy point today, losing in the SO to the Flyers.
Hate those pricks, probably my most hated team in the comp

Crucial 3-0 win over the Wild today.
The Caps and Sabres are tied for the 8th spot with 6 games remaining.
Buffalo visit Washington on Tuesday in a crunch game for both sides.
Still only 3 points behind the Panthers aswell in the race for the division title but id be happy to sneak into 8th.
Tight fight for the Presidents Trophy with 7 teams still a chance to grab it, St Louis are just infront

Caps destroyed 5-1 by the Sabres today.
Playoffs in serious jeopardy now, will probably need to win all our remaining 5 games

Shouldnt have let it go that far, we led 2-0 with 3 minutes remaining.
Once again we let a side back into it

Caps beat the Habs in SO.
Once again let a 2-0 lead slip, the Habs controlled play and dominated play, only some superb saves by Neuvirth kept us in it. Lead the Sabres by 2 points with 3 games remaining and we own the tiebreak against them. Within 2 points of the Panthers for Divisional title now aswell

Only 1 week to go in the regular season and most playoff spots are secure.
Vancouver has claimed the NW Division title and St Louis the Central Division title. The other Divisional titles are still up for grabs with the Pacific being the tightest with 4 teams seperated by 2 points, any of the 4 could win the title or miss the playoffs.

The Pacific Division is insanely close!

At this early stage, who are everyone's tips to take out the Cup?

I still think the Bruins will have the goods....out of interest the top 6 players in the +/- stats for the year are all Bruins (Bergeron, Chara, Seguin, Kelly, Marchand, Boychuk)

Rangers have clinched the Atlantic division and the No. 1 seed in the East.
Boston clinched the NE division and No. 2 seed in East.
Panthers, Sens, Caps and Sabres are fighting for the last 3 spots in East.
As much as I hate them I think the Canucks will win it this year.
Flyers v Canucks final IMO, 2 of my most hated teams :(
