CM PUNK vs The ROCK for championship. Im sure they want the rock to have it, and punk has had it for too long now.

On punk, at the end, he seems to have taken on the bad boy theme after taking out the rock. Glad cena didnt win it, but does he keep the ticket seen as show got involved? Not sure on that one.

Best part was Brock coming out, and him saying F**k off to Triple H , and they had to block it out.

But to end, was ok, not the best thou.

i was really annoyed last night when he didn't show... But read today, that he just had knee surgery.... was keen to be there.. definitely no hand wiping...

i was disapointed after i finished watching it last night, because stone cold didn't show. But looking back at it, it was a very good show... However i'm not sure on the punk heel turn (if it a clear heel turn, then im for that as well), i reckon theres a bit more to it then a straight heel turn... but it was a great ending i thought.... undertaker was awesome... DX was good... Lesnar telling hhh to f*ck off while heading back the ramp. they bleeped it out .... The wedding segment was good. interesting to see how raw goes with aj in charge... the rock, punk, bryan segment was awesome.... D.Bry is awesome... Not to happy with the miz holding any title... Do not rate him... Lita is hot as usuall!!!
in all it was a very good show imo... wwe title fued is very interesting at the moment...

Have read that SCSA is on crutches after knee surgery, and he didn't want his "bad ass" character to be seen on RAW as a shadow of what he was.
He will continue to make the odd appearance, drop a few stunners and drink his beer, but RAW #1000 happened at the wrong time for him.

If Punk holds the WWE Title through to the Rumble, it will be a 439 day reign at that point, eclipsing John Cena's 380 day reign (his third WWE title), and the longest since Hulk Hogan's 1474 day reign that started in 1984. Only Bob Backlund (3 600+ day reigns), Hogan's effort, Sammartino (2 thousand plus day reigns), and Pedro Morales (1027 days) have held the title longer than what Punk would be at.... That is ever. Not in recent history, in the history of that company.

What that means, if the creative team dislikes the idea of Punk/Rock before the Rumble, then he will likely lose the belt, and in any case, will not hold it past the Rumble. Cena will feud with Big Show (yawn) for a bit, before coming out before the Rumble saying that he will win it, and face new champion The Rock at Mania.
Cena will win, Rock will disappear, then Punk will want his re-match against new champion Cena, now with Punk fully a heel, and we will go through the cycle again...

Well Cody Rhodes has restored prestige to the IC title. After taking it off hack Ezekiel, he brought back the old belt, feuded with Booker T, Randy Orton, and Christian (all former world Champs), before losing it to Christian. Now Christian has lost it to The Miz, another 2-time WWE Champ. Thank you Cody, now move to RAW, and beat Santino Marella, and do the same with the US Title.

I forgot to vent about last week, when the WWE has tried to put a few tag teams together, and Big Show came out and manhandled them all. I can handle Kane and Taker putting paid to a few of them, but Show on his only single-handedly buried the Tag roster.

Sadly, I looked at the returning legends, and Road Dogg was puffed trying to get through the intro, and I couldn't think of one that would be able to make one last run (Taker aside). Of all the legends though, APA! Yeah!

Was a great show, good to see some of the nostalgia- whoever thought one of RAW's worst ever angles (Mae Young's hand) would get air time. On another topic, Mark Henry has dropped a bucket load of weight prior to his return...

Only problem is that you would feel ripped off. Rock/Cena closing Mania again, and likely Austin/Punk going off early in the night. You would (as a fan) surely want that to be the marquee match (unless Taker has a good one).

Now, that everlasting question, who will lose to the Undertaker at Mania? Of current regulars, CM Punk, Sheamus (although he would need a heel turn), Chris Jericho (if he's still around), Wade Barrett, and that's about it. Then you do look at a part-timer like Brock Lesnar, because you sure as shit don't need to see him fight HHH again.

Tip would be though, if Lesnar doesn't stack up against Taker, he will against HHH.

dont believe the rock will win the WWE title, as he has more important things (in his words like movies ) away from the WWE for the WWE to allow him to be the champ. Do you thin the rock will win the title, and have to be at every RAW event (just about ) until mania next year???.....i dont think so. If he does, it will be a fan outcry to make him the champ, not the WWE board saying he will be. Never knew a champ holder to make an apperance every 5-6 weeks via satelite as he normally does now, i could be wrong thou. He wont make week in week out events until mania next year......

I think it's a joke he get's a title match booked 6 months away and has done nothing in the last 7 years to get a shot. Who remembers when HBK came back in 02? He didn't get an auto shot, there was a series of matches and challenges (street fight with hhh + on going fued and a qualifying match) to get into the first elimination chamber match, then had to survive the match to win the title, it made it mean something and people emotionally involved. Rock wants a shot he can rejoin the roster, he doesn't want to do that he can get nicked. I'd rather put up with more Cena at least superman wants to be there and actually puts people over.
