A good couple of home sweeps by the CWS.Seattle were pretty hot before the last series.
7 big road games now for them including 3 against Detroit next weekend.
With a bit of luck you can avoid Verlander.
Hope you beat em,too many wife bashers in the Detroit side.(and a racist)

Will laugh if they miss out after forking out all that dosh,so c'mon San Fran.

Must admit I'm missing the bearded madman closing for SF this season. That man makes me laugh.

Boston must be out of their minds. An ESPN report stated that Magic Johnson and the new owners are hell-bent on turning the Dodgers into the NY Yankees of the west coast and the Boston buy-out is the first big step. A pox on them

Are u serious they just offloaded $250 million dollars in salary for the next 5 years to the Dodgers and got some decent prospects in return
They can start from scratch with prospects and some free agents with plenty of money to spend.
The Dodgers got Gonzalez who is a monster but Beckett & Crawford are massively overrated and they are stuck with their massive contracts.
I hate the Dodgers and hope it ends all in tears

Dodgers Super Stars 0 Colorado reserves 10 :D :D

Absolutely, and the first batter he faced he gave up a home run! Redsox will be laughing to have seen the back of him! Was always going to get blow up at Coors Field, very suprised the Dodgers offense couldn't get on the board there!

Agreed, hope the Giants beat them in the West because they won't even get a Wildcard spot! King Felix with another shutout as the Mariners continue their charge!

Not often you win on 1 run and 3 hits, but that just shows how good Felix is when he's on song.Gotta love his "K" squad at Safeco.
I bet all Mariners fans are looking forward to next season with 18 games against the hapless Gastros.

Feel sorry for Hendricks, the Aussie pitcher for the Twins, who has pitched really well at times and is still looking for his first career win.
Hopefully he gets a W soon.

All in all a good day with my Padres beating Atlanta to make it 8 straight coupled with the Dodgers capitulation against the Rox.

Athletics win again to complete a 4 game sweep of Cleveland.

A's & O's the season surprise packets for me.

I had Oakland to lose 100+ games when the season started.

Arizona v Dodgers about to start.Let's hope the D-Backs can end their slump.

Agreed, thought the A's would struggle big time! They've been good to watch on the back of a strong rotation.

Yep would love to see the D-Backs get up so the Giants can extend their lead in the NL West.

Big wins by Baltimore and Detroit today over the Yanks and White Sox tightens those 2 divisions up big time.

Also a big win by Oakland(20-2),but that was only against the Red Sox. :D

Dodgers lost to D-Backs again and blew the chance to make ground on the Giants, who lost to the Cubs earlier on.

Padres win again to make it 10 wins out of 11 :D :D happy days.

Anyone care to put their toe in the water and predict the world series opponents. About the only thing I know with any certainty is that Boston will be spectating.

Still 15 games remaining and with the new playoff system it has made it too hard to pick at the moment but I think the first week of playoffs could be like this
AL
Wildcard Playoff: Baltimore v Oakland
Division Series: Yankees v White Sox, Rangers v WC Winner
NL
Wildcard Playoff: Atlanta v St Louis
Division Series: Nationals v Giants, Reds v WC Winner
Little biased but tipping a Yankees v Nats World Series

Well thought out J. I'd love to see Chicago White Sox go well with our favourite RedSox export Kevin Youkilis batting in the winning run.

Got the morning off work today and due to massive storms yesterday and a heap of postponement there is a heap of double headers today. Watched the Yankees/Jays Game 1, now watching Nats/Dodgers and the Yankees are just about to start Game 2 :D

It is really wired for me to see Adrian Gonzales in that blue Dodgers outfit. A bit like seeing Jobe Watson wearing a Crows jumper!

Rangers all the way this year. Has to be 3rd year lucky.

Got the win over the A's and Oakland again lose to Detroit to give what you think would be enough space at the top. No Hamilton today either.

Yeah all they need is Eddie McGuire and they'd be a complete set of wankers.

Yeah well now that they have all the cash put in by Magic Johnson they really do consider themselves as elite. I hope they fail miserably.
