Nah, I've put my money on Cain. But JDS is paying quite well for someone who is very evenly matched up against his opponent.

Hendersen vs Guida was too good to only be on Facebook. Edgar vs Hendersen should be a beauty!

Despite the card not boasting a lot of big names I thought it ended up being a great set of fights. Loved the submissions of Poirer and Lamas. JDS a beast!

Kyly Kingsbury 1.68
Stephan Bonnar 2.10

Martin Kampmann 2.14
Rick Story 1.65

Cung Le 1.68
Wanderlai Silva 2.10

Dan Henderson 2.05
Mauricio Rua 1.71

Sportsbet have pulled the Faber v Bowles market for some reason.

Any thoughts on the Main Card? I'm finding it tough to confidently pick a winner for any of these and although it doesn't boast a title fight, it's probably one of the best looking cards I've seen in a while.

I agree, very good card that I'm not sure who to place some money on.

Here's a very recent Chael Sonnen interview:

Faber will be too strong for Bowles, but I reckon he'd be pretty short if they had a market.

Kampmann at nice odds, but will need to keep the fight on their feet, as Story is probably a bit stronger and will easily outmuscle in the grapple.

Henderson might be the best bet, has a rock chin and has more weapons in his arsenal than Rua. But do you really wanna put your money on a 41-year old?

No bets for me I reckon.

Epic fight! Rogan isn't one for hyperbole and he was right when claiming Hendo vs Rua to be one of the greatest fights ever.

Apart from the ref stopping the Wandy vs Le fight too early and sections of the crowd booing the wrestling, the whole card was epic.

I thought it was an early stoppage too as CL still seemed full of fight but too see his nose after the fight you could understand the stoppage.
Thats the best 2 fights as mains together on one card that i have seen. I watched it at the Payneham tav and there was applause after the Hendo v Silva fight. after the Silva v Le fight there was one a**hole who made a racist remark about Le (who was outstanding and entertaining IMO) and wouldnt you know it, the racist growlie ferral w8nker loser won the raffle

True, even if the ref let it go until the bell (should have warned Wandy for hammerfists to the back of Le's head anyway) I reckon Le would have been TKO'd by the doc at the break. I wonder how Le's crooked nose will affect his moofie career...might not see him in the octagon ever again

Fedor defeated Monson by decision at the M1-Gobal event in Moscow. Dominated the fight but it lacked the intensity of the Wanderlai vs Cung Le and Hendo vs Shogun fights. Sad that we will likely never see him fight in the UFC.

Was the fight on fox?? Hopefully I can catch a replay.

It's certainly a shame we won't see the Fedor of old in the UFC, his last few Strikeforce fights suggest he's past his best.

Good article about the Hendo v Rua fight and the case for a drawn result.

I was watching the fight with two others and all of us said the same thing, Rua's dominance in the last round would earn him a 10-8 and we'd probably see a drawn result. Not to be though. Would have made for a helluva rematch

Great article thanks for posting, I love how Dana says exactly what he thinks, remember after the first Machida shogun fight him telling shogun in the ring he thought shogun won the fight!

The judges often seem reluctant to fully reward a fighter with a just score. We had it 10 - 8 and when you read those stats I mean, what more could he do??
Now I've never seen the stats for the Edgar v Maynard draw but we thought Maynard might of earned a 10-7 in the first, there were 4 or 5 knockdowns and other then laying him out cold he did everything else. The stats could show it not that bad but that many knockdowns....

It's funny, only a few fights earlier a ref gave Bonnar two 10-8 rounds in his victory. Almost unheard of.
