Same goes for Hogan/Savage

Hart hated the way the WWE was heading. Interesting fact Shawn called Bret out in the locker room and called him a cheat. Bret always claimed he never cheated on his wife yet he did. Hogan was groomed to be the face of the 80's like Shawn and Stone Cold for the 90's and Cena for the 00's. Randy hated the money/fame Hogan had while Randy was a second Generation Wrestler and had to fight for the fame Hogan got. Watch Wrestlemania 3 Match of the card was Savage vs. Steamboat yet everyone talks about Hogan Vs. Andre. Biggest Rivalry has and always will be WCW vs. WWF even tho it killed off WCW it was what made Pro Wrestling HUGE.

The Steamboat/Savage match is usually listed in best matches of all-time, so it is pretty well known I reckon.
The Hogan/Andre match was the biggest of all-time, with a massive build up.
Had an incredble atmosphere, although the actual match was poor.

Bingo yet you ask the average wrestling fan on Wrestlemania 3 and they will say Hogan/Andre. Also the Hart foundation vs. British Bulldogs three man tag was a top match also. I wish the WWE would go back to making decent PPV's like that instead of the tripe they give us nowdays

Way back then, they seemed to hold back the big stars from facing each other in the ring too much before the big events.
I think there was a lot more anticipation as feuds came to their conclusion.
There were probably a lot more squash matches to put stars over -at least it seemed that way via Superstars of Wrestling on channel 10!
These days it's probably too much of the same (amongst other problems), it gets stale and the PPVs don't work too well.

Yeah the 3 man tag was a highlight (with "Dangerous" Danny Davis, the corrupt referee :D )
-the "other" 3 man tag with King Kong Bundy and Hill Billy Jim plus their midgets!
-Billy Jack Haynes vs Hercules Hernandez to "see who was the master of the Full Nelson!"
-Brutus "the barber" Beefcake shaving Adrian Adonis' hair
-legendary Harley Race vs JYD (won with a belly to belly suplex :) )
-Gorilla Monsoon with Jesse Venture was a great commentary team

Do we all think that HBK vs Brett Hart is the biggest ever rivalry in WWE?
Or was Stone Cold vs VKMcmahon just as big?
Maybe Hulk Hogan vs Stone cold?
Triple H vs HBK?
Cena vs Edge?

others??

Business-wise I would have to say NWO vs WCW, The Monday Night Wars, Austin vs McMahon, Austin vs The Rock and Hogan vs Andre.

My favourite would be Bret Hart vs Owen Hart - excellent (and sensible) build up to their 1st match (which is one of my favourite WWE matches) and lots of great angles and matches following on.

Hart hated the way the WWE was heading. Interesting fact Shawn called Bret out in the locker room and called him a cheat.

He actually did this in the ring during a promo, hence the locker room 'brawl' that followed once Shawn got back to the dressing room.

Never going to happen. PPV is one of its major income earners, although I'd be interested to see some stats of how much they make now compared to 20 years ago on PPVs.

With the official release of Ric Flair from TNA, it is just a matter of when, not if, Flair returns to WWE TV.

I doubt he will be wrestling, but most of the rumours suggest he will be a manager of some sort, and a few even suggest the possibility of a new breed of the Four Horsemen. Unlike TNA's Fourtune, in WWE they could actually use the iconic name, which would be good for nostalgia.

Who would you like to see in that group in today's WWE?

that would be great... could be a massive push for some young talent.. you'll need atleast one senior wrestler imo.. do you think they'd be a heel or face group??? i reckon they'd have to be heel... orton should be considered, great heel... he;s just not that good on the mic.. maybe rhodes (just to piss off his dad)... next 2 are tough to pick

Orton's mic skills would be out of the equation I guess, with Flair's awesome mic skills for the promo work.

I think start them off as heels, but depending on the championship situation, they could tween.

Personally I'll only run with current WWE wrestlers, also one's that I see having an ability to tween between heel and face:

Orton, Ziggler, Rhodes, Barrett.

Former multi time WWE Champion when there was only one belt, has headlined a Mania and was the WCW world champion. Not a bad resume and no doubt will get a huge pop and in the words of Kevin Nash "$@3 is money"...i look forward to seeing him. I cant wait for his potential feud with Kane, a wrestling masterclass  not. Generally entertaining though 8)

I just hope he doesnt run in the hall way with scissors again ;)
