Rumour has it they will.

Now talking of ripping off ideas, Jay Lethal in TNA went up against guys like Jim Neidhart and Tatanka in a bit of a programme, if they have Heath Slater jobbing to Sgt Slaughter, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Perry Saturn over the next few weeks, it'll be another blatant rip off.

What I am saying is rumour has it that different former stars will take part in squash matches on RAW leading up to Ep. 1000.

I wouldn't be shocked if there is a big name return for the milestone Ep., that hangs around, whether that is just someone like Mysterio returning from suspension, or an actual return, time will tell.

Here's a thought... Cody Rhodes spoke about bringing prestige back to the IC Title.
He had a long reign, defended against Ezekiel, DiBiase, Sheamus, in a battle royal, John Morrison, and Booker T during his 8 month reign. In that time he also was one of two survivors in the Survivor Series match with Wade Barrett, and he had an awesome showing in the Rumble.
He eventually lost the title to a former WHC in Big Show, regained it, then lost it to ANOTHER former WHC in Christian.
That feud continues, and I think the WWE has achieved what they wanted, 26 year old rising gun Rhodes in the frame, and a guy like Christian fighting over the belt...

Just a little bit more prestige than Santino Marella.

think angle signed a near lifetime contract with TNA a few years ago, dont quote me on it thou. And why would angle leave TNA being one of the top players there, and return to the WWE and become a second look at star (meaning he would challenge for the IC Championship at best) IMO. Like Y2J, maybe get a WWE champ shot, but fail each time.

WWE have no interest in Angle. Physically and mentally he's a wreck (although still better than most of the WWE roster).

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Angle is one name, unlikely to wrestle as he is an active TNA wrestler.
But these former stars who still get around a bit? They're in with a shot.
Slaughter, Saturn, Malenko types.

I would say it goes Stenier/Angle>>Dean Malenko Jr aka Unknown wrestler/Tazz>>>>>rest.

Tensai off the card for No Way Out.
Ryback likely to have an unannounced squash again.
Drew McIntyre, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara, Tyler Reks all unable to break a meaningful mid card feud.
So many guys out injured...
Who get's to step up and take an opportunity? Ziggler in for ADR, I rate that.

But which superstar gets to front up and take on the US Champ? Yep, Ricardo Rodriguez.
The US Title, on PPV, a tuxedo match, with a non-wrestler (I know he wrestles in FCW).

Facepalm.
