He was. About $1.30 IIRC.

No Fuel or OneHD coverage of the UFC on Versus show on the weekend. I wonder why?

Finally watched 135 last night Jones was awesome, his skills to get the submission was amazing.

Without knowing the divisions is there any chance we could see Jones/Silva?

Probably more chance of seeing Silva vs GSP.

Just announced that Jones' next opponent will be Machida in December.

“Anderson Silva, you absolutely suck,” Sonnen said. “Super Bowl weekend, [I want] the biggest rematch in the history of the business. I’m calling you out, Silva, but we’re upping the stakes. I beat you, you leave the division. You beat me, I will leave the UFC forever.”

Sonnen's performance was excellent, and his post-match interview was hilarious. The fact that Silva certainly does not suck makes it even more amusing. The rematch will be huge!

Won some money on Edgar yesterday, which I didn't think would happen mid-way through the 1st round. Don't know what happened to Maynard after that round, he seemed to go to sleep. Terrific win by Edgar in the end.

The Florian/Aldo fight was dull, otherwise it was a very good show.

UFC 136 was the best card (post the actual bouts themselves) by a long way in recent memory. The Garcia/Nam fight was a cracker, as was the Maynard Edgar fight. Frankie Edgar, what a legend.

Edgar quickly becoming one of the great lightweights. Probably my favourite division at the moment, the talent runs deep and he will not be short of worthy opponents.

Lesnar scheduled to fight Overeem at UFC 141 on 30 December - UFC will expect an additional 300,000 PPV buys for that card wth Lesnar fighting.
Agree that Frankie Edgar was outstanding - I look forward to him fighting Gilbert Melendez in 2012. Sonen also very impressive and the Nan Pam v Garcia fight a beauty.

GSP out of UFC 137 with injury. BJ Penn vs Nick Diaz now the main event. Card still looks good with Kongo vs Mitrione, Cro Cop vs Roy Nelson and Siver vs Cerrone

MMA fighters are training harder than ever, to mimic fight conditions as closely as possible.

So your suggesting in this last year they have increased their training loads more then ever before, they have reached their tipping point for pushing their bodies? Yeah that or due to increasing testing for doping their bodies aren't up to the constant punishment without illegal enhancers. Not saying that's the case just a thought.

Yes, I think that coaches and willing fighters are looking for an edge in deep talent pools. Training has probably been taken to a new level in the last couple of years.

As for the second point, we can only speculate. Obviously it happens (Marquardt for example), but probably not as prevalent as we think, especially once contracted and fighting within the UFC.

Well that was by far the worst pay per view I have seen. Those that paid for it are entitled to want their money back, I'm glad I was enjoying a bulmers at the pub, and won enough bets to fund the day. Crop cop, kongo, Bj, all way past their best.

Surely there's been much worse.

Main event was good fun. The first couple matches were evenly matched-up, therefore were uneventful. Big Country showed that he might be a title contender.
