Whats the reason for Hodge missing? is it due to this pay dispute?

It really was Dutchy .. They were plucky, but I think we probably kept them in the game ... We threw away a good 6 points in a nervy last 3 minute period too (sorry mate I know you wont wanna hear that)

Supposedly Hodge had been paid up until the end of the season but still chose to not only not attend the Hawks game but not even let the coach or any of his teammates know where he was or what was happening. He's been receiving very bad advice which not only has now cost him his job but has damaged his career. He thought he was bigger than the team so he had to go and good riddance. Rod Grizzard is a very solid replacement.

Anyway Grizzard won't be here until next week and the Cairns Taipans are coming to town tonight to take on the 36ers. Hopefully a good crowd turns up tonight.
