Hey there Dog_ger...don't know much about betting my friend but I have found some info for you...I think...it's a foreign language to me so I hope you can understand it

This one is an article about where the teams stand with the bookies.
http://www.bettingzone.co.uk/rugby/bett ... 60514.html

This page is a comparision of what odds are being offered by the bookies.

Hope these don't breach the forum rules or anything...Mods please delete if they do.

Hope this is of use to you Dog_ger :D Should be a cracker of a weekend...just a shame the games are on at such a terrible time for you guys I guess thats because there are no teams left from your side of the planet :(

Just a mere 4 1/2 hours to go

Not terribly bothered who wins now that my boys and the Aussies are out but just for a bit of fun, for a bit of rivalry with Dog_ger and to keep my gaelic theme....GO LE BLEU

Half time

England 5
France 6

After an incredibly fast try by Lewsey for England thanks to a bad pass by France at the 1:20 minute mark France eventually took the lead with 2 penalties. Pretty even first half with ball possession standing at England 46% to France 54% although France have a definate edge on territory 65% to 35%. Still very much anyones game...sorry but I still want France to win if only because that might mean that Tony Spreadbury can go out in style by refereeing the final.

Oh cr*p

Final score

England 14
France 9

Congats Dog_ger...it's the final for you. At least I can smile a little at the fact that the golden boys kicking was as bad if not worse than O'Gara's only managed 3 from 7  maybe his days for England are numbered...poor old bugger

And after the game, to go out and get 2 x Hungry Jacks "Bacon, Egg, Cheese & Sausage Wraps" & Sunday mail.

Reading the Sunday Mail.

To discover the replay is at 9am Adelaide SA time.

Nothing like LIVE sport.....

And discovering when jumping into bed that the Mongrels at HJ's only bagged me 2 egg & Sausage Muffins..

It's the Puma's for me too...that's probably the kiss of death for them though

Would love to see them go all the way as I think the way they've played they probably deserve it most.

Only one of the knockout games has been decided by more than the five points of last nights. Im going to say that tonights game will be the second, with the victor the same as the first the 'boks.

Oh dear...did I say 'kiss of death' sorry Puma's...maybe I'll barrack for England

Half time

SA 24
Argies 6

Looks to be a fairly greasy pitch given the way players from both sides have been slipping and sliding although more so the Puma's. Unfortunately that won't excuse all of Argentina's ball handling errors...far to much fumbling and missed catches...greasy ball, nerves, who knows? but they can't win unless they lift their game considerably. However the stats seem to disagree with the score...possession SA 48% Pumas 52% territory SA 43% Pumas 56%...go figure :?

Btw I really, really want the person who thought of adding a microphone to the camera that walks the line-ups during the anthems to die a horrible and painful death. And another thing...I don't think I have ever seen so many grown men in tears during anthems as I have during this tourament

74th minute and Habana scores a blinding try...intercepts near the SA 22 and bolts the length of the pitch to score...fast as lightning...only one token attempt to catch him by a Puma who quickly gives up, the rest didn't bother to move

78th minute...sad that both sides start to loose their discipline... end up with one from each side in the bin for seperate incidents.

Final whistle

SA 37
Pumas 13

Argentina can still hold their heads high...first team outside the 'big eight' to reach the semi's. Surely now they must be given a chance to play in an annual international tournament.

So it's South Africa v Dog_ger  I think for England to have any chance...old golden buttocks is going to have to improve on yesterdays kicking record  and you might need to tie Habana's laces together too.

Well the South African in Mr MK will probably be unleashed*.

I'll be going for the Boks, can't stand watching the English play rugby. At least in the last game an Englishman fell over the line and bugga me! There was a ball underneath him!

Just a little reminder about tonights precursor to Dog_ger's second grand final of the year

France v Argentina Fri 8pm (UK)...Sat 4:30am (Adelaide)

I'd love to see the Puma's take this one. Not so much a dig at Le Bleu's but I think it's high time another team broke through into the 'big 8'...keep the rest on their toes :D
