Looking that way kinda Dull hockey day things should improve in the next few days as players get used to playing again.

Reports that Tampa are in deep stride financially aswell, have a dwindling fan base, not sure if Florida can support 2 sides

Well that is two teams Atlanta has Lost to Canada.
Strangers to win in shoot out and the Caps drop on to the Panthers at this stage.
Thing is Hockey does not work in the South. it has been proven but Bettman will not listen to the people. Because he was in the NBA before the NHL he knows all. Mind you since he has been in charge the NHL has had 2 lockouts and looking at a third soon.

I think that was one of the reasons they wanted to put the 2 Florida teams in with the Leafs and Habs group is that those 2 Canadian teams have massive following and will help boost crowds in Florida.

very true to help make the Money up but The other teams are in the North East not the South it was a stupid, stupid, stupid move by the NHL to do so.
