Jones is amazing, is going to be a huge star (almost is already!).

He is Silva-like (Anderson Silva, that is).

Without meaning to take away from Jones' win, Shogun looked unfit and underprepared. Hopefully, he can regain his form and fitness prior to injury and work his way back to another title shot.

I have to agree. Rua looked nothing like he was when he won his title. take nothing away from Jones, that was AWESOME.

Previously on this thread I'd mentioned that fighters become too defensive. Not Jones, he throws everything from any angle, whenever. AWESOME!

BTW, I love Rashad Evans, but even though he knows the ins and outs of Jones, he'll get smasheie by Jones. I just can't beleive how this division has been turned on its head in the past few months. Evans > Machida > Shogun > Jones.... unreal.

Did anyone note that Rua tapped before Herb stopped the fight?

Yep, he'd had enough, wasn't going to get to his feet after another pummeling.

Anyone catch Fight Night on Fuel TV today? A couple of uninteresting fights (Dan Hardy woeful), but one of the best submissions you'll ever see with the Korean Zombie locking in a twister submission on Garcia who had no choice but to tap out. Wow!

Diaz vs Daley on Strikeforce today was great. Has the best round of action you're likely to see this year.

The Ad for UFC 129 Gsp v Shields looks real good. Should be a very good card. :D

Off to the local pub at 10:30am for UFC 129 tomorrow. With over 55,000 fans and a great card it should be a huge show.

Mark Hominick is one gutsy fighter. Kept at it and if the fight went a minute or 2 later, he might have got a win.

GSP v Shields was a massive let down.

Pablo Garza looks good. Has a few weapons.

Edgar vs Maynard has been pulled from UFC 130 with both fighters suffering injuries during training.

Replaced by Jackson vs Hamill.

Pretty weak looking card now.

Still a decent card I reckon but a weak main event.

Brock Lesnar's illness has returned, he has been replaced by Shane Carwin.

Dont blink for that one as it could end either way very quickly. Should be entertaining though :D

I only caught the last three fights at the pub, but yes, bit of a yawn.

Excited about 131 though. Been hanging to see Carwin fight again and it should be a good old fashioned toe-to-toe. Ken Flo vs Nunes promises a lot as a fast-paced featherweight bout. Maia vs Munoz will be a good exhibition of BJJ!

Oh yeah, UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz will go head to head at UFC 137 on October 29 =p~ =p~ =p~
