Agree with you TSG, Vettel would would win the title no matter which of the top 3 teams he was driving for. I rate him just ahead of Button and Alonso and miles ahead of Hamilton and Webber. Webber had a good season last year but he has been terrible this year. All the other drivers in top 5 have won a race this year but Webber has a couple of podiums and mainly fourths to show in a superior car. Red Bull should be 1-2 in at least half of the races yet Webber keeps getting 4ths.

Vettel wins the Korean GP in a canter. Overtook Hamilton on 1st lap and ended up winning by over 12 seconds.
Great race for the podiums with Hamilton and Webber having a great tussle and swapping positions several times, in the end Hamilton held on to 2nd by 0.4 seconds. 2nd to 5th seperated by 3.6 seconds
1st Vettel
2nd Hamilton
3rd Webber
4th Button
5th Alonso
6th Massa
19th Ricciardo - Good drive. 3 drivers DNF but he still finished ahead of Liuzzi and d'Ambrosio. Reckon he has shown enough promise to get a decent gig in the future

One of the coolest things I have seen. Vettel and Button's battle for pole in Japan.

Vettel starts from pole, Webber 2nd after Hamilton serves his 3 position penalty.
Webber loses a spot at start as usual, Ricciardo up to 14th :D

Vettel wins again.
Another poor effort by Webber, starts in 2nd and finishes 4th.
Ricciardo 18th equals his best result

There must be more to Webber losing spots at the start than his ability. Surely once you start going it's all out until corner 1. I can understand a few times he might over or underrev and have a slow take off, but every time? If he was so consistently poor he'd never have got a drive in F1 to begin with. After that, being the #2 car he seems to get stuck behind traffic without being able to jump with Vettel always being the first priority. I wonder whether perhaps Red Bull would have preferred Vettel with one setup as they like it, Webber with another with more straight line to be able to pass under DRS a little more.

He only lost 1 position at start this time. He had a fair crack at Button early on but couldnt get the position back. I dont know whether its the car setup or tyre choice but he always seems to struggle in the middle portion of races. He really dropped off mid race but over the last 10 laps he recorded the fastest lap several times and had a late dash at Alonso but left it too late.

Weber didn't loose a place at the start. He got out dragged by Button down the back straight on the first lap.

Amazing Massa got the penalty there. He was in front and on the racing line. Perhaps Hamilton got the benefit having had so many and whinged about them all.

Hamilton wins in Abu Dhabi, Alonso 2nd, Button 3rd, Webber 4th.
Vettel copped a puncture on lap 1 and took a scenic route, made it back to pits but retired due to damage. Webber had a horror day mainly due to his team, he had a bad pitstop on lap 18 where he dropped 4 spots but then he drove really hard and clocked fastest lap and worked his way up to 3rd before they pitted him on last lap which cost him a podium

This mornings race also saw the end of the Renault, Team Lotus and Virgin Racing names in the sport with the three teams changing names next year. Could also see the end of the driver with the most race starts in Rubens Barrichello. Hopefully we see Ricciardo get another drive next year. 111 days until the next race!
