Well English league is a relative try fest given that English RL is so poor defensively
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Agreed, but the atmosphere at games also appeals to me, the only thing I don't enjoy is when they can buy players to come back for the finals only.
Be like North buying Jonathan Brown, Nathan Buckley, Andrew McLeod and Simon Goodwin for the last 2 games.

I usually find myself barracking for the Poms against the Aussies which is scary. :?

Tassie you should know by now to ignore Wedgie's opinion on Rugby Union, he has no idea and he reeled you in good and proper.

The Tri-Nations/Bledisloe Cup this year was some of the finest Rugby played by God's Own. Just in time to lose another World Cup probably.

Wedgie, if you're a good boy I'll get you a ticket to the Super 12s when they go on sale (early to SACA members) for next year. You'll probably enjoy that more than the full game. Can't wait!

I was at Adelaide Oval for a tryless game by Nambiba in the world cup against Wallabies. I actually prefer to watch union than Aussie rules. Cant wait for the Super 12s hopefully can get a ticket.
I was also a lifetime Rams member, 2 years!! :P What a joke that was with the music and commenty by Scott McBain and mexican waves.
Union over League for me.

Troy's talked about some comp called the Super 12s too but I don't know what it is, I'm genuinely curious.
Is it perhaps a pre-season compe for the Super14s with a couple of teams missing or have they ripped 3 players out of a team?

No suprises there!

So you're talking about when the Super 14s comes to Adelaide?
Gee, you must be excited not even knowing what the comp is called these days! :?

originally it was a super 6 competition, Wellington, Cantebury, Aucland, Qld, NSW and Fiji, then a super 10, super 12 and finally super 14.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The number next to the word Super doesn't relate to how many players there are on the team, its how many teams are in the comp.

I enjoy watching the Premier League (ie NSWRL). Am a regular on the hill at Newtown Jets matches. Just love them to be honest. Really adventurous attacking footy, lots of throwing the pill around (even in the wet), and nearly always a stirring Bluebags comeback.

The Jets lost the PL GF 20-19 in extra time on Sunday night. Which caps off possibly the worst sporting weekend in my history, with the Jets, Swans FC Bayern and North all losing matches they could very well have won. :x :( :?

Back in the debacle that was once known as 'Superleague"
Melbourne Storm versus Adelaide Rams for the 'Southern States Cup'
or something like that, I can't really remember!
But I think they only clashed once anyways! (Melbourne won)
As a foundation member during those 2 Glorious Years
Do those of you who went to Rams games, remember 'Mega-Ram', Rumble,
Kerrod Walter's 'Chicken dance' & Scott McBain explaining the rules of League (not very well) over the P.A.?
 It WAS entertaining! But not in the way Rupert Murdoch had in mind eh!
 GFC Troy are you on the Storm bandwagon now like ya were with the Rams back then?
GO THE GROWL!!!
