Hard to look past New England, New York Jets, Philadelphia or Green Bay as an early season favourite.

I can't not help but think that New Orleans will be strong again this season and I have like the Chargers for a few years now.
Texans could finally see the year they get over the Colts.

My predictions for the season.
AFC DIV WINNERS:
New England
Baltimore
San Diego
Houston
WILD CARD
New York Jets
Pittsburgh
Colts to miss just.

NFC DIV WINNERS:
Green Bay
Philadelphia
New Orleans
Arizona
WILD CARD
Atlanta
Chicago
Giants to miss just.
Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.

My mob Atlanta havent entered the winners circle this season :(

Not that im the most knowledgeable regarding the NFL but questions have been raised regarding depth, and with most teams trialling their entire squads during pre-season, this is looking to be an accurate call.

Preseason means nothing. A lot of teams don't even do game plans. All they want to do is see how people play. You could be playing against the #1 rush defensive team and still run it 3 times in a row, just to see how people react.

Also the lockout means a lot of teams aren't up to what they should be.

Falcons will go alright this year.

agreed.. my lions are looking great atm, the last time they went well in pre-season the ended up having a record 0-16 season... however i doubt that will happen again considering they have improved ALOT!!! i reckon they'l push green bay in there conference this season... well i hope they do

Agreed the Lions have improved a lot. They won't touch Green Bay but will definitely be in the mix for a wildcard.

The Lions have been always good in preseason. Then they go 4-12 during the regular.

However I think they can push for a playoff birth this year as a Wildcard. Key is to keep Stafford healthy for 16 games (which is impossible)

Fantastic game.
Seemed like the Packers on the last play knew there was going to be a run as there was no pass coverage at all but they were correct.

God knows why the Saints run it. The Packers D-Line smashed the Saints most of the game. Play Action there would have been perfect.
