thank god thats over. almost 6 hours we were out for. got caught folliwng way too many times. i think in the heat of the moment half looking at a map half looking at people and sayign lets go move move move. cost us heaps.
was an experience thats for sure
already planning what and when we are doing something similar.

well done Big.. its such an acheivement to finish one, and no doubt you will get hooked and want to do more and more... i think everyone gets caught with following in the first race....

my first bold tip should have helped...

biggest TIP in the race, DO NOT FOLLOW OTHER PEOPLE.. trust yourself and the route you have chosen,

hehe, but happens to everyone... each one will get easier..

theyre lots of fun dutchy....not in a traditional sense but they are fun. and an amazing sense of satisfaction when you cross the line. the version i did was the short one mate!

GTP we were semi conscious of not following people, but getting caught up in the moment knowing which general direction we had to go and seeing heaps of people run that way we didnt realise we were following until it was too late.

met some fantastic people though who we will stay in contact with.
