Na, if Wegs is a good bowler, that makes a mockery of the rule. Sorry Wegs.

Its OK mate, was thinking the same thing myself! ;)

Not a bad effort by the youngsters A Mum
As a player I read all those results as I have followed the kids for a few years ever since we've had some members of our Club compete in state and national events.
Myself, I love the game and took it up when footy, basketball etc became a no-no due to hip replacements at too young an age.
This year's pennants is almost upon us and looking fwd to it, nearly as much as I look fwd to Country week in Feb

Are you refering to the regional Round Robin that was held in Feb this year Steiger?
Where Fleurieu were the winners?
Also what youngsters do you know?

(if you don't mind me asking..lol)

O:)

Likewise the 'boys' in my family are looking forward to Pennants - they have been out practicing every night this week.

The Country Carnival is the week prior to the Country Round Robin and they are 2 different competitions
In recent years we've had Aussie Cunningham do well at state and nationals and now his young sister Desiree is making her mark in the state junior comps.

I know both Aussie and Desiree - last saw them in April.
Desiree won silver in the girls pairs at the U18 Championships I believe (from memory).

Play for McLaren Vale Steiger.
They won their first pennant by 2 shots (I believe) - they actually played against one of our other safooty.net members :D

A youngst son and A Dad both have new bowls so they are trying to get used to them...lol.

What about you Steiger you guys started your season? O:)
