Holden now have one of the premier racing teams in the world working with them. Puts some pressure on HRT next year to perform, seeing they are the 'factory' team...
Two thirds of cars on the grid next year will be Holdens. If Ford continue to pull funds out of motor racing in this country, this could be the beginning of the end for the V8 supercar category.
I tend to agree with you. Ford will really only have 6 "A" grade cars on the grid next year; FPR, SBR and DJR. If you take the 888 cars out of the top 10 in todays race, you end up with one Ford in the top 10.
I can't believe that Ford would go down the same path they did all those years ago. It did a lot of damage to their image and once again, they will live to regret their decision...
And you're right, it will hurt the category.
