Big losers out of this would be Winnipeg, who face another season of constant long road trips by remaining in the southeast division

Washington up over Pittsburgh 1-0 at the end of the 1st period.

I assumed Fox Sports only did NBC Sports Network's Monday/Tuesday night games and didn't bother to check the program guide. I then realised when I got to work that Fox Sports is broadcasting the game

I can always record the replay tonight I guess.

If the score doesn't change soon, I may not need to record the game

The next Washington v Pittsburgh game will be one of the few the main NBC channel are broadcasting (the game got shifted from 3:00pm to 12:30pm Pittsburgh time for NBC). I hope Fox Sports picks that one up as well.

Caps lose 3-0 to the Islanders. Breaks a 7 home game winning streak.
Start a 3 game road trip in Canada tomorrow, our away form is very ordinary.
