Give him a one year deal and see what comes up in the 2014 Draft. Then if there's still nothing, give him another 1 year deal, and tank (or just play like they normally do) and try to get Johnny Football in 2015.

Maybe even trade for someone elses 2nd stringer thats on the cusp, like Foles from Philly. Take a punt on Carson Palmer...anything...just not **** Romo...

FFS, more misery for 6 years

Some decent players to throw the ball to and protect the space around him and things will be looking a lot better for Dallas! Most of the crap he cops isn't his fault

Interesting to see that Jeff Garcia, Marshall Faulk and Ato Boldon are helping JaMarcus Russell in his comeback attempt.
A lot of haters out there. Personally wish him all the best as talents like him are rather scarce at the moment at the QB position but it is obviously completely up to him whether he has the fire in the belly to make something of it.

I reckon its his persona that people dont like. I rate him highly as a QB. He took the Broncos to the playoffs, and won the Wildcard game as a rookie. Denver fans maintain they won DESPITE Tebow, but thats BS.

It seems like he'll be 3rd string QB on very little money, with no guaranteed bonus' or anything like that.

The thing he's got going for him is he's not that bad as a QB, certainly better than some current starters. And he's versatile.

The Pats could throw him on Special Teams, and also try a few Wildcat moves. Sure the other teams gonna know its a trick play, but I think the Pats will do it smarter and not always get him to run the ball. He has the skill to throw, which Rex Ryan never gave him the chance to do.

I doubt he'll move above Mallet on the depth chart though. I think his best bet is to get a little bit of positive exposure at the Patriots, and then try to get signed to a lower placed side further down the track.

Prob use him for short yardage plays also. Coz Brady wouldn't be the best qb in the league for a qb sneak.

And Gronkowski may be out longer than expected with that arm injury, so they might throw him in at tight end to change things up a bit.

You're right. I only thought he had complications with his arm again. I just read that he had problems with his back in college as well, so it could be a massive problem if he doesnt get it sorted. Whos Brady gonna throw to with Welker and the Gronk out?

Tebow! DUM DUM DUUUUUUMMMM!!!

Im definately in for Fantasy again.

Just another opportunity for Tebow to slot into the TE position i reckon.

Hernandez was also connected to a shooting in Florida in February where the victim was shot in the face and hand, and lost an eye.

The articles on NFL.com dont really tell you what happened in this latest one. Just that they think he might have killed someone.

He does look like a crazy maaaaaa **** though.

The car was registered in his name
He smashed his home video security set up
And smashed his phone before gave it to cops.
Does not sound good.

The guy from the shooting is suing him again or something too.

OK, from all that, he probably did it.

I dont understand why so many of these guys get into such serious trouble. If I was paid millions to play a sport for a living, Id be on my best behaviour just so I didnt **** it up.

Idiots.

Maybe it was one of his mates. Just read an article saying he was trying to distance himself from the gang members he associated with growing up. I guess the fact he hasnt been arrested is a good sign for him.

Some of the comments on the article were pretty good. My favourite was:

He's a triple threat, running, receiving, and marksmanship.

Gronkowski has a bad back and Hernandez has a bad alibi.
