7-4 Taylor 19 times in the WC Final and 16 times a winner.

In the history of sport has there ever been a more dominant sportsman than Taylor?

Bradman was playing a team sport.
Squash Champion Jahangir Khan might be a better comparison:

During his career he won the World Open six times and the British Open a record ten times. From 1981 to 1986, he was unbeaten in competitive play. During that time he won 555 games consecutively, the longest winning streak by any athlete in top-level professional sports as recorded by Guinness World Records.[6]

Also 400 metre hurdler Edwin Moses:

Between 1977 and 1987, Moses won 107 consecutive finals (122 consecutive races) and set the world record in his event four times.

Chess is a thinking game that requires no physical skill or application.

Darts is no different to shooting and archery in terms of the skills needed and they are Olympic sports.

Anyone questioning the legitimacy of Darts as a sport has no idea. Sure they might be fat bastards but to have such a steady hand, such a sharp mind and the ability to execute such a fine skill under enormous pressure is amazing. I'll be honest i was more excited about watching Philip Douglas Taylor this morning than i was about watching my Hawks in the Grand Final (last year now).

Can't wait for the Premier League. Once again it's bound to be dominated by Phil. What a performer he is. You can beat him in one off but over the journey like the Premier League, he''l make his opponents look stupid. Maybe MVG can stand up to "The Power" a little this year?
