I agree with most of this except:

MB - Wanderers - BOG - Tim Atkinson
MA - Flinders - BOG - Sam Vanderwal

Thats my tip for the bog in respective grand finals or don't you have medals for that, if not i will take a stab in the dark and go for Brad Giles to win A grade Medal and in the B grade a gun player called Dion Chester.

Congrats to all Grand Final winners over the weekend and in particular to the Panthers Hockey Club their 3 premierships. Can't say I expected the margin in the A grade GF. Was very surprised to see Flinders go down so easily however they can still be very proud of their season. For Panthers to outscore Flinders 3-1 after losing Shep half way through the first half is an amazing perforance. Awesome stuff boys well done.
Terrible day for Wanderers losing all three GF's we were in. When u look at things realistically however u would say it was always on the cards. Our best hope was for the Womans A grade to win.......they just ran into a Flinders team who were too good on the day. Those two teams are very even and will probably be there again next year.
Our Mens B's were extreamly unlucky not to have held on to win. RR the umpiring was pritty good all day so don't know what your on about there. Two of Panthers three goals were more arse than class........especially the last one. Greg Packer was the ONLY reason Panthers are B grade Premiers......he was amazing in goals all day for Panthers. It felt like we out played Panthers all day in general play and just couldn't get past Greg to finish things off. We had enough chances to have been 4 goals infront at half time. Wasn't to be however. Good teams can play poorly sometimes and still win and Panthers are exactly that ( a good side) so well done boys.
Panthers Woman were way to good in the B grade and we were lucky to only go down 1-0. The game was played in Wnaderers half and only desperate defence held Panthers out. The Blue girls were unlucky to lose Tracey and Amanda to knee injuries late in the year but they battled on valiantly and were deserved Grand Finalists.
Well done to all the Association Trophy winners........in particular to Sam V for winning the Mens A medal and Jodie H for winning the womans A's medal.

We were very disappointed in our effort on Saturday, Panthers gave us a true hockey lesson. They were much more disciplined, better drilled and infinitely more experienced in finals hockey than myself and team mates. The majority of their team is made up of guys who have been playing hockey for more than 20 years, who have been playing hockey together for that same amount of time, whereas we have players ranging from 6 years to first year, who have really only played together in this form for one season and it really showed. Having Rainbow out of the side suspended also hurt us plenty more than we expected it to....

However, having said that, we are still extremely proud of what we achieved this year compared to last and know we can still improve next year and hopefully take that one step further.

do you believe that you might be just slightly hyprocritical considering the strong stance that you took on here a while back, to other teams apparently poaching players? yet turn around and do the same thing to a team you left

name one current wanderahs player who is undisciplined.
