Habana (coco kabana)is icing his left shoulder on the sidelines as Burgess waits to put-in five from his line.
Giteau clears under serious pressure but Aus are penalised at the next play for pulling down Matfield at line-out time!
Steyn converts the penalty. the boks are back in town

Four points separate these two here with Steyn kicking long to Tuqiri.
However, the young centre is penalised for holding on with the visitors deep in their own territory.
Not before a turnover sees 'the beast' fend off (roger the saint)Moore and charge to halfway!

Much-needed changes for the tiring Wallabies as the Boks look very strong in these closing stages.
They have it fifteen out from the opposition whitewash as the hosts' new men look to earn their post-game beer. =P~ :drinkers:

Giteau fails to find touch though! But the Wallabies have try-scorer Tuqiri to thank for now as he commits to (fannie)De Villiers with a big hit on halfway. This one is definitely going down to the wire

The Boks go quickly from a Giteau touch-finding grubber and could be in trouble with Pietersen( im not the cricketer) isolated on his goal-line!
Australia turn it over and have possession inches from the whitewash - will they seal it here...

no as Elsom loses the ball. #-o

Slow ball from here on in i think as it appears the wallabies are milking the clock?!
No, as it comes back to (jimmy)Barnes and OMG he scores with a well-taken drop for a seven-point margin!

Was it down to fresh legs or have the Boks been beaten fair and square they will be asking ?
It was a  pulsating finish.

Mags that call was "mag"nificent. I have to admit every time I see Januarie, I think of that song. Sick and tired you've been hanging on me....

I'd love to call the game this weekend but the skills you have far outweigh mine in that department. Reakon me and Mr MK will be on the edge of our seats! Can't wait! Flying out tomorrow morning and not back into Adelaide until next Wednesday so I'll find a PC somewhere over there.

Go All Blacks!!!

Welcome to Sydney for the coverage of the 2008’s Bledisloe Cup opener. Proudly brought to you by the team from SAFOOTY.

Hi everyone i'm M80's and tonight i hope to bring you a bone crunching game of rugby union against the awesome ALL BLACKS up against our very own WALLABIES.

The majority of the pre-match talk has centred on the coaches but one feels the loss of respective captains could become the deciding factor. Who will cope better without their leader in what promises to be a nail-biting contest 'til the end? There are also some mouth-watering match-ups all over the field with Carter vs Giteau, Barnes vs Nonu and Sharpe vs Williams just three of many interesting match-ups! So sit back and enjoy!

and a special hello to Mr and Mrs. MagicKiwi who have ventured over from Adelaide to witness this great clash.
