I'm flying the Alberto Del Rio flag, and I expect him to face Ziggler at WM.

Obviously, I'm backing Ziggler to beat Edge (not cleanly though), and also think Miz will retain against Orton.

If the winner of the Rumble was a RAW contestant, I'll throw Morrison's name up, purely to see Morrison v Miz.

I'd bet my house (if I owned one) that Alberto will not be facing Ziggler at Mania in a title match.

wristwatcher wrote:I cant imagine 2 heels will hold the titles at the end of the night and a heel winner of the Rumble if ADR got the chocolates. I very much liked the 2nd part though. Jo Mo to win and face the Wiz. Me and my mate picked that when they first gave the strap to him. With their history together these 2 would be able to put together a great program and awesome Mania match.
I think the title matches could go either way due to the convenient ole rematch clause and the fact that their is another PPV PRE MANIA. I only hope Edge wins as this will prevent Vicki from getting bonus air time.
One final crazy scenario would be that Edge does beat DZ but vicki pulls the strings (not the one between her legs) and gets Dolph in around say number 40 and we have a first time rumble winner with a twist. 40 men, thousands of scenarios. Surely Vince is gonna reach deep into his bag of tricks with the booking and give us a good, entertaining and unpredictable show. A little more edgy than having Nexus and Core in the Rumble at the same time and having say an ex member come out.

Morrison is not popular enough as a 'good guy' to be in a main event (he should have turned heel ages ago).

Vince has barely given entertaining and unpredictable booking in the past 10 years, I don't expect this show to be any different.

Cena will win.

Possible surprise entrant (yawn):
Apparently Booker T may be in the Rumble.

I remember late WCW days when Ricky Steiner was all set to join his bro in the main heel faction and i think it was Ed Ferrera who let it slip and they bought in Road Warrior Animal as a replacement who was about a dozen years outside his prime. I think that may have been the match when Sids leg snapped in half :vom: Apart from the obvious OMG his leg snapped and we are waiting on a mystery man that was one of the strangest endings ever.
Anyway i understand your point and i dont wanna book for Vince but over the years i have watched big comeback Royal Rumble victories from H3, Cena, Edge and so on and would love a nice twist.

Winner of the rumble - cm punk
winner of money in the bank at mania - Cena
winner of main event at mania - Cm punk
Cena to cash in after the main event and win the title

also wade barrett twitted that papa shango was gonna be in the rumble (for those who dont know that is the godfather). Also with Macho man been bought back by the wwe this week to do a few promo things, wouldn't be surprise with a 5 mintue cameo in the rumble (just quietly i would love that, i know he is past it but it's cause of him i got into this)
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

This will not happen as Wreslemania is a special event and Vince will never do this. I don't see Cena winning or being in the Money In Bank Match. You find CM Punk to win MITB and Cena the rumble.

Vince would never do you that???? you sure of that, do you know how many wrestlings tradition vince has broken and how many of there own things they have change or broken, dont think for one second this wont happen and if he doesnt do it at mania the next night on raw then, but you seriously think the wwe wont let superman be champion at wrestlemaina's end??? (btw see wrestlemainia 9 for something similar to what i am talking about)

I know what you mean there Hogan defeated Yokozuna. That was meant to be a retirement gift to Hogan from Vince for one last title. (Hogan soon signed with WCW.) I know Vince has broken alot of traditions Vince has broken and he is not afraid to change or break. I can see it like you said on the next night on Raw maybe. Or leave it til a PPV in a month or so's time.

Also remember vince is playing lesser of hand in WWE these days he is like 70 years old, so i guess it will be what hhh/steph or what the writters come up with, just with the way WWE storylines happen these days, I can see it happening

You are most right but Vince is 66 this year. Vince has been known to change his mind but I don't see some of this happening. Planning for Wrestlemania starts in November and all is planned and made ready for in the coming months. Not having decent competition means the crap that we get now we have to suffer with.

Yep, that was the match. Terrible.

Could happen. Unlikely that Cena will be in the MITB match (they also might not have that match because they now have a MITB PPV) I would think though.

Mania used to be planned months ahead of time. In recent years it hasn't.

Yes that is true sadly. That is why the past few haven't been good in quality as I feel they could be.

Don't see it happening. His recent work with the WWE video-game was not done with WWE but with the video-game company. The bad blood between Savage and WWE means we may never see a return.

Legend has it that when a young Scott Levy (better known as Raven) was Johnny Polo he gave Stephanie some AngelDust.

He also did some work with there toy company who is bringing back his action figure into production, also the wwe has to say yes to both the video game company and the toy company to use him. Also Vince has bad blood with everyone (well nearly) over the years and alot of them have come back into the fold for a short time and Vince has stated plenty of times, he will do things if they are good for business. It would be nice to see a Macho camo at the rumble but I wont suprised if it dont happen also I can see them putting him into the H.O.F. just to annoy Hulk Hogan. Just a point if raven did that and Vince took him back then Vince can take back Macho Man.

Vince is very forgiving and willing to help people out. I have some idea on the Macho Man and Vince's fued but not a whole lot. If Vince did do this it would be great not just for Randy Savage but for the Macho Mans fans. On the toys it can be done as a independent deal to produce an action figure. Bruno Sammartino did this to be part of the WWE Classic Superstars line. The Macho Man also did this but the WWE is allowing it because they can make money out of this. Look at the Macho Man DVD series. Randy Savage had no part of the deal.

That's right, it was the toy company not a video-game company. Due to the fact that Savage had nothing to do with his DVD, and has not even been considered for the HOF, I don't think we'll ever see him return. I haven't heard about the Raven incident (maybe Steph was older then).

I heard about it ages ago there was a dirt sheet on it. I know there is a dirt sheet to a degree I would say 80% is pure BS of over 400 so called facts about pro wrestling. I have it somewhere on my computer.
