Patriots go 16-0 after coming from behind to beat the New York Giants 38-35 earlier today.
NOW, can they go 19-0?

THE New England Patriots came from behind to beat the New York Giants 38-35 today to complete the first perfect home-and-away NFL season in 35 years.

Since the re-alignment 5 or so years ago a lot of the divisions have had the one team win most years:

AFC East - New England Patriots
AFC North - Pittsburgh Steelers
AFC South - Indianapolis Colts
AFC West - San Diego Chargers
NFC North - Green Bay Packers
NFC South - Tampa Bay Bucanneers
NFC West - Seattle Seahawks

NFC East this year won by Dallas after Philadelphia had a mortgage on it for a while

Another year, another broken heart for the Cowboys :(

Packers take home field in the NFC playoff against the Giants next week, should be a great match ... Colts are out also leaving the Chargers to front up against the might of New England.

Cowboys last playoff win was a wild card in around 1996

1st time the top seed in the NFC has lost the divisional playoff since the current 12 team play-off concept was introduced

Wade Phillips their coach is now 0-4 in playoffs (1st 3 with other teams) and reports before the match suggested his spot was in trouble if they lost

A similar fate was suffered by Marty Schottenheimer last season when the Chargers lost their play-off match after going 14-2 in the normal season. In that case, a good change as Norv Turner has the Chargers into the AFC Championship.

Media blackout yesterday so we could watch the replay last night. What a nailbiter and fantastic game. Cowboys discipline and egos let them down and they would've been truly stuffed without Barber who was their BOG. Full marks to NYG for giving away only one penalty all game and beating the top seed with a reasonably dessimated side due to injury.

NYG need to turn up quite a few notches to beat the Packers after last week's brilliant comeback win in the conditions with Farve on fire. I am looking forward to this weekend's games immensely. Would be fantastic to have a New York side in the Superbowl.

UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX STADIUM
As the first stadium in North America to feature a retractable roof and a roll-out grass field, the University of Phoenix stadium is the home of the Arizona Cardinals, as well as the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The stadium seats 63,400 for Cardinals games, but will provide approximately 10,000 more seats for Super Bowl XLII.
