Based on the fact you forgot and left your girlfriend of 5 years at the first pub on the last pub crawl  (and i quote ; Danica-"Tommy there is no way that he has forgotten me" Donna- "Well we are the only 3 left in the pub so its not looking promising") Then id suggest if im getting there by pub 3 then coherency may be an issue by that stage

i still maintain that I let Mrs MBK know that i was moving on. And if not walking out the door with a oversized novelty bell & yelling next pub was probably a good hint!!!
I was quite coherant, until we got to PJ's... A place where coherancy is frowned upon

Ahh PJ's...

The only place in SA you'll see someone get a tap on the shoulder and the bouncer say "Sorry mate, time to go you've not had enough"**

We at Na Fianna have a saying regarding PJ,s..."What happened at PJ,s stays... No seriously, what the hell happened at PJ,s"
Despite how messy PJ,s has and will continue to be it has one thing going for it that makes it special. So many of us older folk had many many classic nights with the great Normy in that venue and back when Na Fianna won a cup every year that was the venue for many of them. Normy was at every single one of them 8)
If you see Me and Micky Lawlor sitting in a corner around 2am with a couple of those jug like pints then chances are we are spending Na Fiannas money :) But you can be certain we will be reminising about the great man, the times we shared with him and how strange it still feels to be an Irish pub for a Gaelic function without the guy who made it possible.

yeah dont remember too much about pj's after the presentaions in past years. but last year gav and myself did a ghosty. both thought we were in the same cab. untill we reached grange rd lights looked at the car next to us and we were in seperate cars. no idea how that happened. this year will not be the same with out the great normy holding the bar up
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

I don't think we've ever spent Na Fianna's hard earned money on alcohol before ;)

However for you to be sitting in the corner & drinking a jug, we'd have to drag you away from the girls team first WW!

There's always something going on with the NaFianna boys so don't expect tonight to be anything different...

Onkas v Flinders. Onkas got up in a tight one last week over Saints and with Flinders maybe still a little short after the xmas period expect the same this week. Onkas 6-10.

WI v Port. WI got up over Mitcham after tight first half with more unders than usual. Expect too much class and experience against the forward running Port boys. WI by 10-15

Nafianna v Irish. NaFianna lads will be back on deck from tonight with enough recovery time to easily account for the Irish. Even if MBK is shackled by the lady and not allowed out sunday the class of junior, a couple guys called Fay and Hill and the twin peaks of Jolly and Javor will see them home. Little Paully and the talls in Watson, a guy called pup and Wark will need big games to make it close. Nafianna by 6-10.

Saints v Mitcham. Saints not all the happy with the result last week and with Tal Bachman, Mills, the Zmen (these guys are scary as the come after the Xmen) and all those guys who wear the names of the twins of their shirts expect them to rebound this week. Mitcham boys gave a good account for themselves for the first half against the goats but not even the peoples champ Tommy G and CC Carey will be able to cause an upset. Saints 6-10

Going off what i heard last night from WW (pre PJ's, so it's believable :D )...
Onka's beat Flinders in a good contest.
Western Ireland to strong for Port.

As for the good stuff ;)
Only one eviction from PJ's  ... Stama "the Hammer" removed for crowd surfing

 Needless to say the hammer was not a happy camper when i saw him outside
Yes last nights results were...
Onkas 2.13-19 def Flinders 1.8-11 after FON lead at half time
West Ireland 6.11-29 def Port 1.5-8
Still one of the great mysterys regarding WI to many is the fact that they play Gaelic football in the summer yet refuse to shower after the game and fellas next to shower and change rooms is the club rooms on the off chance that one of you might go in there one day.

Yes the Goats beat port easy. Goats were once again missing a few key players but the new players introduced to the side are fitting in well. Going to be a very tough game this week against Flinders. safe to say its going to shape our season. in the early game on friday night Onkas over ran flinders. Flinders were in front early but could not hold off onkas fast finish.

as for the showers WW. the lads said they got a bit worried with a certain ref coming in and always dropping the soap.

NA Fianna to smash mitcham 11-15. to many good players. mitcham not enough players

Saints to beat port. 16+ If port get there better players on the park they can play good team gaelic. but good is not good enough against the saints powerhouse.

Onkas to beat Irish 11-15. irish have improved but not enough to challege the premiership favourites.

Game of the round: Goats to just beat Flinders. 6-10 The goats will be out to celebrate the birth of the little Willoughby. in a must win game. hopefully a few injuries come up. If we win we move a step closer to a top 2 finish. if lose back in the fighting bunch for a final spot. Must win game for flinders. if they lose they may kiss finals footy good bye.

Gaelic7s last night:

St Brendans handed Onkas their first Gaelic7s defeat running out winners 5.13 (28) to 3.11 (20).

Steve Irwins defeated Rosewater 5.14 (29) to 4.5 (17). The Irwins another step closer to finishing off all the Guiness in the St Marys fridge!

Angry Leprechauns defeated Flinders 5.24 (39) to 2.6 (12), in a near 50 point turnaround from the first game these teams played.

Who was the new big guy for St Brendans who kicked a couple of unders? He looked a little like THE ZEUS but he hit the sack TWICE!

Results last week pretty much as everyone predicted with Flinders turning around the previous weeks performance to put up a good show against the mighty Onkas outfit. This week tips look straight forward on paper but some clubs may suprise to keep things interesting.

Nafianna to defeat Mitcham. Nafianna easily accounted for the Irish last week and looked reasonable inpressive. Milko's hamstring is holding up, Jolly continues to make his presence felt and king cool cat Kenny Fay is tapping them over the bar from everywhere. These guys will only get better in the run to the line with Matt Hill yet to reappear. Mitchams good can match most of the top sides but again some costly turnovers leaves them open to quick rebound scores. NaFianna by 6-10 points

Saints to defeat Port. Port losing some of their zip from earlier in the season while the Sainters look like they are warming up for this time of the year. Pomers, Millswood, pretty boy Bevo and Bachy just getting better every week. Saints by 11-15 points.

Onkas to defeat Irish. Onkas are showing their class week in week out and after again being challenged to half time wore the opposition down to take the points. Have the experience to account for the Irish with Snoop, Wado, Anto, DannyBoy able to lead from the front. Irish need their talls to step up in Watto, Wark, Huss to get close. Judging on previous weeks coach Whitford can probably spend more time resting the stars and talking long walks around the oval. Onkas by plenty, 15+

WI to defeat Flinders. This game is a bit like an episode of Rocky over the coming weeks. Just when we have seen fight it out, back they come again to do it all again almost the week after. The goats just keep rolling out new players with rumours more to come. Like Adelaide oval membership the names are down but the waiting list is long just to get a run...Hardest decision to come for coach Dave will be telling which ones have to miss out. Maybe even gags gets a run in the backlines...Flinders need a win but would need to get their best list on the park. The loss against the Irish may hurt come 5 weeks time. WI by 6-10 pts

Meet a young fella at church this morning going by the name Mark Doecke.
Mentioned he played some Gaelic footy in the local SA competition.
How does someone of a small stature like Mark's compete in Gaelic footy?
Might pop out and have a look this week.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?
