Sadly didn't get to see that one but I'd usually go for neither...maybe just sit back and enjoy watching them knock seven bells out of each other...although I would still get a kick out of watching the thinking-woman's Neanderthal, so as Chabal was playing - France.

Not sure what to make of the new England 'away' strip...Wilko! your bum still looks big in it

...then again it could have been worse...

Well apart from the obvious, a win, that had to be the perfect way to end a weekend...now I just need to start breathing again \:D/ :-bd

Got this by email less than 2 minutes after the whistle from No1 godson's England supporting parents :D ;)

What a game and what a finish. Using it as a lesson to Nath to never give up when playing rugby

Now bring it on Fiji

Geez, Wilko has done some serious work in the solarium by the looks of that photo. Surely that's not an English tan at this time of year!

Just watching the Aust v Ireland game

Kaplan should not umpire club games - the Cliffy send off was a joke

missed the game thankfully, was away interstate for a wedding, sounds like the refs were noticeable  again

the pressure might be off the boys now, they can go out and play without having to think about the grand slam which has been a huge focus for them

I just found out the dates for my rugby trip to NZ next year, the Wallabies are playing the AB's at Jade Stadium (or whatever it is called now) in Christchurch on 7 aug, better start saving my bottles and cans, I had better start drinking more then ;)

are you planning on heading over next year MK :?:

Won't spoil it and post Wallabies or AB's results in case you guys have recorded to watch later...in the other games...

Ireland 41 - 6 Fiji

What a game and they only televised the 2nd half  ...on the upside I think I've seen O'Gara's future replacement...young Jonathan Sexton making his debut kicked everything including 3 conversions from the corner flags (1 on the wrong side for him) all went straight between the posts sweet as a nut and all in a howling gale and rain. Definitely a name to watch. On the downside now the wait for news on Dennis Leamy's nasty looking injury...Fijian tries to push him off the ruck and he gets his leg bent up and twisted under himself...inflatable splints, stretcher etc :( [-o<

France 43 - 5 Samoa
Italy 10 - 32 South Africa
Wales 33 - 16 Argentina

Thanks gdb and commiserations to you :goodman:

Saw a little of the 1st half of the Scotland game while waiting to see my lads. Didn't think anything of a 3-3 scoreline when I changed channels. I honestly don't think anyone I know expected them to win  ....one consolation for you...just imagine how p*ssed off Martin Johnson must be

Thankfully not this far north...it's mostly soccer and shinty up here so the rugby goes pretty much unnoticed by the locals.

Final weekend of the Autumn Internationals :( ...the games and their kick-off times (UK time) are...

France v New Zealand, 19:45
Ireland v South Africa, 14:30
Italy v Samoa, 14:00
Scotland v Argentina, 14:30
Wales v Australia, 17:15

Ireland have dropped O'Gara in favour of youngster Sexton...not really surprised after his outstanding performance last week...should be a great test for the lad. Hopefully the Wallabies can get their mojo back against the northern shaggers.

If anyone was woken a little while ago by a sort of squealing/screeching noise...sorry that would be my fault

but...OMG WE BEAT THE BLOODY BOKS \:D/ :-bd

So results so far...

IRELAND 15 - 10 SA

Scotland 6 - 9 Argentina

Italy 24 - 6 Samoa

Now off to watch your boys give it to those shaggers...hopefully [-o< won't spoil by adding the result in case anyone is recording to watch later.
