Next time you stand me in a game Nev, I will give you a free hit :)

Mini Gerry is the ref for the first 2 but not the FON V PORT game MG so you might wanna re think tipping a draw ;) Having said that if you were able to get the 4/4 with margins and the draw it would give you 7/4 and send you to a commanding lead. Tipping the draw is probably the only way from stopping your manfriend from copying your tips

Got a feeling you won't be meeting MG on the field...
As for picking Ports, just taking a risk to get one up on everyone. Could pay off depending on what FON rocks up[/quote]

Teddy Javors been whacked in many a Flinders game...P.Hendo, C.Hendo, M.Leverett, McAsseys mate, That little guy with the pony tail (Superw.. )who you hit MG but he thought it was me. The games i get whacked in my teams win....Your record is not so good. Hannigan Cup Final 04? and the infamous 1991 Australasian Semi v AUKLAND (Whack the Fay day) are 2 of my standouts.

Yes it was. Elbow to the back of the head i believe. The initials CL were in the vicinity but the initials GP were somewhere on the ground so why not blame him ;)
Funnily enough when i was having the Chineese banquet with the GinPeg and his wife in Melb 09 we worked out that GP had smashed my nose all over my face one day in 1999 when playing for Walkies V Plympton  . For 10 years i believed a guy named Geano Modra had done it but this was just his nickname at the Bulldogs in the late 90,s when he was their glamour full forward  . Its a small world but they are not small elbows. Like so many ageing greats its good to see the old man still having a run in goals

I dont think we did. I thought that was the infamous O,Hagengate when we had 3 players red carded (JFay, G O'Rielly and K.Farrell who was on the bench when he got his red card) I reckon the Taints got us that day 13 points to 7. I could be wrong but i was the PR for the association and had to write an article in the Irish Echo (award winning journalism no doubt) and that was St.B,s first Hannigan Cup. I thought that was the game in which the incident occured but it could have been the Hannigan Cup final we beat them in i guess :o

Nice plug of yourself there WW :D

I wasnt aware Gino was making a comeback this year but our games seem to coincide with him finishing his 15 or so cans on his ocean liner and he must get the urge to play on his way home. Who are we to say no to a gaelic great (and those rather large elbows).

The Taints definitely won the Hannigan cup with all the red cards near the end. This was after years of embarrassing losses to the old foe Na Fianna in finals.

Funny you mention that CT, when MG & WW were going down memory lane earlier I actually did get on there & have a look at the honour board.
How are some of those old premiership photo's??? What style was WW going for? 07 - D Flo with hair

I think this walk down memory lane is the ideal build up for this weeks game between 'the old foes'. Should get a heritage game going with the St Brendans 'frost bites' jumpers brought back & the Warriors back in the fin mccools tops & green shorts!

Yes it was Schimma. I remember a pool, pizza, beer and a midget as our Captain. Its so easy to forget Gaelic Cups when you have been flukey enough to pull 20 out of your ass  Whos house was that at? Im thinking it was somewhere near the bay. One of my fav moments from that game was when there was some sledging going on between the teams and Tony Della let rip with a..."Watch yourself mate or ill put your Rent up" Even Gerry Roe on the sideline got a giggle out of that one :D

Please don't spoil my memories with facts! My whole career becomes a lot less interesting....and WW becomes liable for a few criminal charges in NZ and a couple of states.
