Went out last night for 3 hours from nth haven. Not a lot of action,but enough to keep you interested.2kgw(35cm) 7 squid,1 stingray. Not much once the sun went down.

I was bought up on Snook - so love the taste, but also eat lots of other fish.
Once we have filleted the we wash the fillets in seawater and then in the freezer.
We then have a feed of fish every week during the year.

a fresh feed of tommies is the best for mine actually got a kilo from the seafood place in gawler next to the pub in willaston for only $15 a kg from memory a much cheaper option than the KGW fillets which were close to $50

There is no way in hell that Australian tuna will be tinned. Its a premium market sashimi fish. The sh!t that gets tinned is the dregs of the Northern & Atlantic yellowfin/bluefin.

Whiting are out there locally. Bagged out in 2 hours, some hitting 43cm , most fish 34cm-38cm. Only 3 throw backs. Got 11 squid also, 25 chow, 2 red mullet and 2 undersized flathead.
