It is excellent to see some 15 a side being played and it looks as though the competition will be very very tight this year. Keep it up lads.

Breaking Balls, keep em coming...

He may be good - but he is still a poor mans Matt Doecke IMHO...

Looking forward to the tense battle of witts (excuse the pun) between supercoaches Matt "Whitto" Whitford and Andrew Milsom this Sunday when Onkas and St Brendans face off - i believe we are playing for the innaugral Michael Stevenson Cup. Cant rememeber the last time the Taints actually defeated Onkas in the regular season, and we would need a 100% improvement on last weeks game to do so this week!

CT's tips:
Na Fianna 6-10 over Port - MBK to pull his hamstring clear off the bone whilst trying to run with Toasty.
Western Ireland 6-10 over Mitcham - the Goats to get on the board in 2010
Flinders 6-10 over Doeckes Australians - if some of their outs mentioned by Nev come back this week, will be a little too slick for the improving Irish.
Taints by 1-5 over Onkas - its ski season at Gaelic Park with the Taints fielding 2 x Zaluski's + a Joraslafski, and with Onkas having Janetski we are not far from the excellent "Yeshecanski, Nohecantski now, Goalski" skit from Wired World of Sports!
Gaelic Football - Funny name, SERIOUS GAME!

I hear the Matt Doecke's calendar goes straight from March 31st to April 2nd. No one fools Matt Doecke

However my tips....

Na Fianna 1-5 over Port. I'm worrying about my hamstring, if only i had enough power to tell other people to chase
Onka's 6-10 over Taints, still to early for the Taints to fire
Flinders 6-10 over IA. Good to see the improvement from IA
Western Ireland 6-10 over Mitcham.

I am picking NA Fiana to beat port. will not be as one sided as people think. 6-10 points. Delvins to pick on wrong guy and get some of his own medicine.
Onkas to beat the saints. Onkas form side should win easy 6-10 points. Hope someone stitches up number 15 from onkas, maybe then he will learn not to sharpen his elbows.
Flinders to beat the Irish. Flinders will step up to another level and win by a easy margin. 10-15 Flinders will be top 4 going into the xmas break.
The mountain goats to win a close game against Mitcham. We should be better for the run last week and hopefully start hitting our straps. if we are not 50% better then last week expect an upset. Mitcham did enough last week to show they will be no easy beats and will challenge most sides. 1-5 points.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Na Fianna 6-10 over Port
Yet to see the new team in action but have heard numerous positive reports. Nevertheless the well drilled Finns expereince should get them over the line comfortably enough

W.I 1-5 over Mitcham

West Ireland to bounce back with a win. From what i understand they have at least 1 big name recruit this season - be interested to hear how he is going with the round ball..??

Onkas 1-5 over St Brendans

Sounds like the Onkas machine hasnt skipped a beat despite the 2 big name losses. Apparently they have been more then ably replaced by some Irish recruits. Generally takes some time for the Green & GOld machine to warm up.

Flinders 6-10 over Irish Australians

Irish to once again challenge for the win but Flinders class to prevail. Flinders however do have to be mindfull of the Doecke factor tho..... I am informed that last year when Irish had the bye Matt Doecke still got 3 votes..!!

Yeah i have a running sheet BB.
BB, MG, MBK, SWOOP +BFG are all on 3
WW, NEV, SCHIMM, HAWK, CT + RUPE all on 2
I havent checked closely but at this stage i think all tips are the same for this week. The only difference being some of the margins. I think some weeks it may be like that when the top 3 play the bottom 3. Interesting to note that NO-ONE has tipped the 2 time defending Hannigan Cup Champions this week after they had an 8 point win in Round 1.

I think you will notice that the fairly nieve and possibly even foolhardy CT has indeed tipped the back2back Hannigan Cup winners this week WW... tho as even our coach has tipped againt us - perhaps i should re-think this?!

I was told by a reliable source (Witto) that there is an article in the messenger regarding Witto's Chazz Brownlow efforts at the Australasian Games! Has anyone seen it?
