ORDB, do yout think is it possible that the Pats will go 16-0?

Think it's going to be awfully tough despite their impressive start but if they can overcome the Colts in a couple of weeks time, they could be a chance.
Think what gets overlooked is that the combined records of the teams the Patriots have played so far is 17-28.

Didn't know that.
They have got two tough games coming up with the Redskins @ home then match of the year
@ the Colts on 4th November.
They've got games against Philadelphia,Baltimore,Pittsburgh and the New York Giants in
the second half of the season.
Will do well if they have a 13-3 record going into the playoffs.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Anyone see Brett Favre perform another miracle on MNF earlier today?
Denver send it into OT wil no time remaining then Favre unleashes
an 82 yarder first play into ot to win it.
Packers are now 6-1 and even though that are in the NFC, does
anyone think that are a chance for the title?

Quite scary that Browns, Cardinals and Lions are running second in their division at the moment given their recent ineptitude over the past decade or more.

Playoff predictions for mine
AFC - Pats, Colts, Jags, Steelers, Chargers (Broncos & Titans for last spot ... Titans to get in).
NFC - Cowboys, Giants, Packers, Saints, Seahawks (Lions, Bucs, Redskins & Panthers for last spot .. Panthers to get in)

Don't forget Gridiron SA season now underway
- Doubleheader Saturdays 5pm & 8pm at Pines Hockey Stadium, Gepps Cross

Hi Jimmy

I'm interested to know if there is much rivalry between Jets and Giants fans.

Ie now Jets are out of race will they follow Giants because they are a New York team
or cheer very hard for whoever the Big Blue are playing.

IN SA Crows v Power is very intense but their history is very interlocked & they meet twice a year in the same "division" where as the Jets and Giants have seperate histories through seperate leages and being in seperate conferences and might meet every three years.

I would assume Islanders v Rangers v Devils in NHL and Knicks v Nets in NBA is pretty intense given they play in same division.

Patriots pip Colts 24-20.
Minnesota rookie Running Back Adrian Peterson sets an all time high for rushing yards in a game with 296 in Minnesota's 35-17 victory over San Diego. He now has 1036 yards for the year on only 158 carries at a remarkable average of 6.5 yards per rush.
Detroit Lions showing that they're looking like real deal in 44-7 demolition of Denver. Their D appears to be the outstanding part of their game.
One of the years revelations, Quarterback Derek Anderson, continues his great form for the Cleveland Browns in their 33-30 OT win over Seattle to move the Browns to 5-3.
New Orleans have recovered from their woeful 0-4 start to get to 4-4 in their 41-24 victory over Jacksonville with Quarterback Drew Brees throwing for 445 yards.

Me too Jimmy because when I was there, I didn't sense any. They play at the same park - could that be a reason why? I jump on the Giants bandwagon if the Jets aren't in it and if both aren't, the Bills because it's still New York State. But as one who doesn't live there, it would be interesting to find out.

phil and magic,

there sint really any rivalry, the giants fans know the jets suck so they dont bother with the trash talk. some guys i know support both teams as they dont have a favourite but its usually pretty good between the two. they play in diff conf/div so they rarely play each other.

BUT, phins, bills and pats there is a huge rivalry as they play them 2 times per season.

we are having a terrible run but with clemens in now, it may turn around...maybe 2 more wins on the year....
