Very nice MK :D

Don't know if any of the media backlash against the French team after their loss made it onto your news shows but apparently the president of the French rugby union publicly called the team a 'disgrace to the nation'...and thats just after losing one game...reckon they'll be wheeling out the guillotine if the lose any more.

I think you could probably include Ireland in no. 5...if the big boys aren't careful there could be some huge upsets on a par with the cricket world cup.

I'm always impressed by the way that neutral supporters will help fill a stadium and get behind the underdogs...great fun and always done in the right spirit.

Win or lose I'm looking forward to a full weekend of rugby heaven.

The thing that I have noticed is how high ranked Argentina are inside the top 6??????? surely if they go alright this tournament they can start pushing for an expansion of the tri-nations to include them.

Heater...Argentina are long overdue a chance in one of the tournaments...if you guys down south still won't let them in it has been suggested up here that they move the team to Spain and allow them to expand the Six Nations to seven...I believe it would still be an Argentina team just based in Spain. I'd certainly be happy with that :D

All the Argies either play in France or the UK, so that may suit. There has been talk of South Africa joining the 6 nations, and the Argies going the NZ/AUS tri nations set up....

Personally I'd prefer the Argies...never been a lover of the SA game. Anyway the English gutter press and the Nationalists could have a field day every year with sniping, puerile references to the Falklands every time they play each other

You should still be able to give our northern shaggers a good thumping...hopefully :D

I have a feeling that poor old Portugal are going to get clobbered...mind you I think they should bring in a new rule that stops the players trying to sing the national anthem...that was painful

Final score

NZ 108
Portugal 13

Considering it was No 1 versus No 22 in the world rankings I think the Portuguese will be chuffed to bit with getting 13 points including a heart-stopping try. They played a lot better than England did last night...good effort Portugal.

Congrats MK and Mr MK and the Kiwis although I think if my lads go through I'd rather face Portugal

Way to go Aussies

So I assume a 'field goal' is the Aussie term for what we call a 'drop goal'...have to try and remember that
