Oh, what rotten luck JAS !
Just when you’ve planned your trip out here, they go and do that to you.
We all know that once you get a taste of OZ in 2011, you’ll immediately
apply for permanent residency. Still, you can always follow the rugby
from the comfort of your computer, in a geographical reversal !

Haha...it shouldn't affect the road trip at all.

The Union tournament isn't until 2015 so that's 4 years later and the lady boy code doesn't interest me at all so no worries there ;)

I'm afraid even if I do get a taste for Oz unless I start doing the lottery and actually win it then I wouldn't come close to qualifying for residency...unless you plan invading the neighbours, in which case I'm just the logistics mercenary you've been looking for :d

hey JAS, if you are coming over in 2011 you should hop over to NZ and catch a couple of Rugby world cup games while you are in this half of the world

I did think about it for a few seconds until I checked the dates. Due to a total lack of consideration by the parents with regard to their mating habits my 50th is at the wrong end of the year. So I'll be visiting at the beginning of May while the RWC doesn't start until September.

Probably for the best anyway cos even now father doesn't approve of any women being allowed to attend Internationals...I'd be taking a seat that could have been used by a real rugby supporter  although I'd love to get one over on the old b*****d one day ;)

Mr MK and I are doing a three month road trip in the home country JAS and will finish up with the RWC pool matches, home in time for the finals. I will raise a glass or two for you as no doubt we'll be seeing your boys play. :D

Fantastic news!!!!!
Wallabies have to be favourites at the moment, due to the fact they have won both times the RWC has been held in the UK 1991 & 1999.

Wow...you lucky duck, or should that be chook ;) hope you'll be filling the 'photo's to share' thread with heaps of that fantastic NZ scenery when you get back.

Good to see I can count on you both for a glass or two as well...truth be told I was a bit worried about gdb's stamina...afterall we're none of us getting any younger and it's a lot to ask of the poor fella  ;)

In return I shall watch every crowd shot for a glimpse of you all...so wear something distinctive won't you :))

Go Ireland :d

:-? ;))

Well, this time, you can all squeeze up a bit and make room for one 20+ year WRAF, in spirit if not in body...if I can match the crew of HMS Iron Duke can for can (albeit 15 years ago) then I'm damn sure I can keep up with you lot ;) :p

Actually JAS I will be distinctive. When we go overseas for Rugby Union, we travel with an Australian company (obviously) so I am the only little black dot in a sea of yellow! So you may just see me after all :).
The younger and infinitely better beer drinker Mr MK will be able to take up any of the slack in the Caffrey's department if gdb can't hack the pace.

Probably no crazier than the guys who think nothing of flying out to the Caribbean to watch a game of cricket. Far worse things to spend money on imho :D
